  • What great quality 240p we have met again

  • Yes, heel toeing in a PT Cruiser. Very necessary

  • burn burn the clutch bruuuuuuuum

  • heel toeing involves your heel actually.

  • This's not a proper shoes to wear and do heel-toe because this's a thick shoes. The thin one is more favour so you have got a better feeling about how position & pressure of big toe to squeeze on brake pedal and blip throttle with consistence brake pressure.

  • Yeah, this is not really needed when you're taking the corner in 5mph, champ. Roflmao.

  • its called heel toe for a reason...bcuz you use your heel for the brake and toe for the gas

  • lol fail, its called heel toe for a reason not side of foot, slip

  • @tradesmansassistant

Using the heel results in a jerky motion and is never recommended.

This is the proper technique used by race drivers. Look at the video of Senna doing a heel and toe - he does it like this. I guess one of the greatest drivers ever also fails?

  • I guess you are right. But people "heel and toe" differently but achieves the same thing. You don't have to brake with your toes and twist your heel to blip the throttle to be a heel and toe.

  • Thanks!!!, ... from Colombia

  • using the ball of your foot to blip the throttle is NOT doing a heel - toe. Learn from the japanese people that developed the technique not some dude in a 4 door sedan..

  • Automatic is useful for learning to drive properly. 100% of the attention of the pupil gets to the road. After the skills are mastered, they can upgrade to manual shifting..

In Europe most of the cheap cars have manual gear box, because it makes the car cheaper, and also maintenance simplified , no need to change oil and more reliable if properly used. Of course women do have some trouble in getting used to gear shifting but finally they get it.

  • this video is wrong. you never downshift while in a turn, the wheels can lock sending you in a spin. always downshift because you turn in. dumbas

  • @MrZacharySwan but i did it sometimes...... (since my car is a FF)

  • @TheFancyCars nope! in automatic! but u can choose to learn stick when u first drive, although many beginners choose not too because its a lot to take in. However in June when i turn 16 (here in Canada) i am going to learn i stickshift because i really want to know how too! looks like a lot of fun

  • LOL 0:37 FAILURE

  • How do you Heel toe now that cars like Toyotas have the throttle cut off in the event that both break and gas pedals are pushed?

  • pt looser

  • i never knew the truth from gta san andreas drove a stick

  • I dunno, maybe its just me, but wouldn't it be easier to make that turn by just down shifting, braking and then while pressing down on the clutch, give it a little gas get RPM's up? Anyone?

  • @Slimer2x3 then u cant lift the clutch up just as fast.

  • Expert village should not be putting these videos on the internet, they are a liability to people learning from them.

  • i never knew they made 5spd cruisers. thats pretty dope.

  • wow title a bit long or?

  • autos are for girls, ghettos, baller wannabes, kids........i love mt, car with mt are my type of vehicles.

  • @joeaccord23 agreed... thats why i love my truck. but my corsica isnt stick and taht dont make mea pussy.

  • hey rob u look like a pirate

  • I've drive with automatic box once in my life :p Manual gives you the 100% control.

  • manual is so easy to drive haha

  • LOL stick cars are the real cars, automatic is for old ladies

  • at least it had a nice deep tone..not rice boy weed wacker..

  • WHY DID I LAUGH WHEN I SAW THE CAR?!

  • well, I'm for europe and i can tell you, that it is wrong what is saying that guy, we teach not to do like that, couse its risky, you can push gas pedal instead of break and well, disaster is ready. You do that when you want to drift, but for normal driving its wrong...

  • @ZibixXx what are you talking about? You only blip the throttle when you're out of gear, if you think it's risky then you obviously don't understand what is going on. I heel and toe all the time - street or track, but I don't do it like in the video. I actually use my heel and my toe rather than the left and right of my foot, and I double clutch properly too.

  • I'm starting to think this is "Idiot-village", so many vids that waste my time

  • He looks like the guy from scary movie 2 :D

  • ugly car !!!!

  • so the idea is to keep the rpm's up so theres no jerk when shifting into another gear

  • i like how he riced out his PT loser.

  • WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS NOT HEEL AND FUCKIN TOE HIS USING FUCKIN TOE AND TOE WTF!! HEEL IS THE BACK OF THE FOOT DUM ASS

  • @Pinoyyyyy Okay, explain how he is going to apply pressure to the brake and blip the throttle with his heel. It is anatomically impossible in this car. Watch Senna's video in the NSX - he does the same t hing.

  • I nearly fell out of my seat laughing when I saw that POS body rolling through the corner!!! Did you notice his foot slipped off the brake when he was "demonstrating" at the beginning? I imagine you'd get a really nice surprise if that happened when you were actually decelerating towards a corner!

  • the dam goal of heel toeing is to fucking rev match not to do a simple turn dam its ment for hard braking from like 90 to 45 dip shit dayum

  • Poorly explained

Never put a car to work with the foot in the clutch

Never set foot on the clutch when the car is stopped

That spoils the clutch disc and Dual Mass Flywheel

In america should learn to drive the car with a clutch, not automatic.

Automatic, it is easy to learn.

  • i drive a manual transmition car and i am 19 :D

  • @andrey91pireu In the UK we learn and do the test in manuals...

  • @andrey91pireu lots of people do...

  • thats not heel toeing...

  • I don't give two fucks what any of you fukcers say, Daniel Stern here certainly knows how to drive that PT cruiser.....

Thats right Mr. Stern aka Rob from expert village....... The car failed, Mr. Stern passed with an A- .......I will personally post up more vids as soon as my camera passes and stops failing.....

  • I cant belive what i have seen. Never do this.

First of all you must know how your car handles on curvs. On aproach, shift to a lower shift and break what you need on entering the curve. Release the breake and give enough gas to feel the car slightly pushing.

If you must break during the curve, enter it with a very low speed. Never press the clutch unless you must stop.

  • sudas kazkoks

  • haha heel toeing. cwalk move

  • The depreciation on those PT cruisers is immense, maybe cos their crap.

  • fucking rasist nazi bastards. stupid nazi. stop hating on him because hes a jew.

  • PT Cruiser......fag

  • theres no point heel toeing or double de cluthcing in a road car, most road cars the accelerator(gas) is to far away to do it safely, race cars of high performance cars like Subaru impretzas have the throttle much closer to the brake for this reason.

  • did he slpit up all his vid for a min for more views?

  • @spawn92md dont watch it if ur not even thinking about the vid

how fucking stupid can you be, do you think views are even that important?

  • views ARE important... wtf? do you know what youtube PARTNERS are? thats how they make money... each view gives you money...

  • i never said i dont wanna give them views... if i didn't i wouldn't subscribe to their channel and watch almost all their videos... you are an idiot... i was correcting what you said... cause you obviously dont know what you're talking about

  • @CrunchyApps fuck off jew go fucking kill some arabs so they can suicide bomb your country more.

  • wow, why are you so immature? do us all a favor and grow up please.

by the way im not American, IDIOT. im Armenian living in USA

  • @CrunchyApps oh so ur fucking Armenian now? didnt know armenians had jews.

  • dude seriously? how old are you? why are you so fuckin immature?

  • @CrunchyApps awe cry fucking cry now ohh boohoo how come people hate jews all we do is collect all the fucking money in the world and not even give it to starving children oh boohoo.

fuck off dont talk to me dirty shit.

  • grow up please

  • @CrunchyApps Shut the fuck up and jump off of a cliff you racist prick.

  • Hmm. This vid could be improved if he described what the point of heel-toeing is (ie. rev-matching) before he goes into how to do it.

  • This is the only thing that I have not yet practiced with a stick-shift car..........maybe I should buy a $500-dollar honda civic and practice!

  • @755hp

    Sounds sensible

  • thats only if your racing not for evey day driving.....

  • ummmm,, no,

It helps when you need to downshift a gear or some more when slowing down to a corner. It reduces clutch wear (if done properly).

Saying heel-toe shifting is only for competition is completely ignorant.

  • that was the shitest video ever

  • Fuck that Chrysler is ugly. How could you own a PT.

  • Pretty much braking and downshifting (clutch down + downshift + blipping gas + reengage clutch) at the same time. Sounds simple, but tricky in practice. (If you are brave enough, you can try to double clutch while braking)

  • I liked the demo but in a PT Cruiser!!!!

  • yeah i hate pt cruisers. a lot.

  • in my book, driving w/ manual trans is what real driving is all about. You just don't have as much control when driving auto. It's like driving bumper cars at an amusement park w/ auto. lol.

  • true lol i like a anomaly

  • this just doesnt seam as safe as putting the whole ball of your foot on the brake and using your heal to blip the gas, which is what the phrase implies, lol.

also, something just doesnt seam right about heal-toeing in a PT Cruiser ^_^

  • nice car.

  • wow nice driving shoes hehe

  • i know many people that dont use shoes at all when driving(comfortable and more accurate)

  • pt cruiser = fail

  • @07wr250f noooo it's awesome

    michael scott has one lol

  • @07wr250f

    LOL

  • @07wr250f i call it the pt loser..

  • Thats not the real goal of heel-toe. Heel-toe was first made for older cars, so when they downshift at high speeds the gears dont lock. Now with the new cars, its more having the car in the right gear to get maximum acceleration or response. due to your car being in the torque band when you usually heel-toe downshift

  • Bit of a confusing statement ... Heel-toe has nothing to do with being in correct or wrong gear. It is only about 1 thing : it revs the engine to the correct rotations, while you normally are braking - and clutching - which would both try to drop your revs, to anything as low as idle. Without revving (because you would be braking), your revs would "shoot up". This is 1: bad for the engine/gearbox/etc. but 2: very unconfortable way of driving (it shakes the car very heavily).

  • heal-toeing was accually started from my research, to prevent the drivetrian from lurching when you release the clutch, when the engine is catching up with the gears, this will often cuase a car to lose its stability at higher speeds and cause you to lose control

  • Uh no. Its to match rpm so you don't throw out your trans

  • reading the comments is so damn funny

  • omg he dumped his clutch and it didnt stall i dont think he was even hitting the gas maybe it just looks that way but my car would of stalled

  • Or he was in Neutral.....

  • LOL hahahah fuck you made my day

  • LOL this comment is classic

  • lmao i cant tell what im only looking at his feet

  • ROFL hahahahah

  • this technique sounds beauuutiful in a Ford XR8 =)

  • Comment removed

  • Foot slips off a lot that way, its better to have it tilted to the left.

  • Hey j3rm2 you drive your grandfather's mercedes huh? You must be spoiled rotten. This guy is trying to help those less fortunate. Granted a PT Cruiser sucks and he could get an Aveo or a Focus but that's his opinion so you should go back to your mansion and suck a lemon.

  • Learn to spell, you fucking moron.

  • well I guess we don't need more proof that you're 16. you're the reason we have to wait 24 years for lower insurance. you don't even know what you're talking about with the gears, so quit trying to act like you know everything.

    and learn to spell.

  • Comment removed

  • how does that destroy your engine? i dont get it...

skipping gears doesnt destroy your engine...

you can go from 1 to 3, skipping 2nd. no problem. and you should watch your language... 16 yr old? really? try 11.

  • its good for racing but dangerous too. what if you slip off the brake, you'll fly into the corner and get k.o'd. he even slipped off the brake when demonstrating lol

  • this is totally new to me, but i wouldn't try.

  • to downshift smoothly while turning and keeping speed without sliding out. please and thank you

  • whats the point of heel toe?????

  • stayin smooth.

it puts less wear on the clutch and also enables you to reengage the clutch quicker while down shifting. this is important for braking in performance situations, eg. racing.

  • the point is not to lose speed while entering the corner......

  • 0:38 and then you die, cos you do this most of the times in corner braking, and the brake slipping like that is fatal ,and why is it called heel-toe ? cos you do it with both sides of your foot.....cant believe this, your foot must rotate some 45 degrees on the toe center placed in the midlle of the brake pad, in the edge that's bound to happen sooner or later.

  • its only necessary to rotate your foot 45 degrees when the pedals are too far apart to be reached with the ball and blade of the foot. the guy in the video is emulating the techniques used by professional racers. and you're wrong, slipping like that does not immediately lead to death. race tracks are specifically designed to be as safe as possible, and if you slip on the brake and fly into the kitty litter, you probably aren't going to die...

  • thats a toe-toe not a heel toe lol

  • dude you suck

  • lol. That's not heel-toe.

  • i think the car im learning in's pedals are too far apart to do this.

Does anyone know what to do if it is

  • check my comment if it helps...i thing i got it right

  • check out the "drift bible" by Keiichi Tsuchiya...it's in youtube and various torrents too. they film the pedals movement, there's a throtlle/brake lights and graphics so you know what he's doing inside the car...he is a driving god though

  • WTF A PT CRUISER??? LMFAO

  • Hardly anyone needs to do that (in the UK) but it is a way of absolutely minimizing clutch wear when changing down. Just be sure not to be in gear and approaching stationary traffic, otherwise CRUNCH!

  • Thats not right. Thats not right at all.

  • lol his foot fell off the brake pedal.

  • haha fuck,

it's expert village, what do expect him to drive????????

  • a GS-T is front wheel drive....LOL.

  • .. can you sound anymore like a fucking rice boy huh bitch?

  • riced out pt loser lol

  • How is he riced?! It's a stock PT Cruiser.

You need to know the meaning of what a ricer actually is before posting retarted comments like this.

  • have u seen the rice taillights

  • ricers is a fucker who buys a 5 inch rice can and puts it on the honda and hes fast and fourious how is a pt cruiser rice what do u drive a geo metro u fucking loser learn ur shit fag

  • its stock you fucking douche. gtfo fucking fagot little ass kid.

  • Ummm..how about a retake? your foot clearly slips off the brake so obviously a bad technique.

Besides, you just don´t heal and toe a pt cruiser. It´s way too gay.

  • I use my HEEL and my toe not the upper sides of my foot

  • Oh my god this is so dangerous. His foot slips off the brake pedal, which should be an indicator that there's something wrong. You never let your foot slip off the brake. Not only do you lose control of the brakes, but your car will also become very unstable once you take all that loading out of it. Be very very careful if you use this method!

  • well, it's not really a technique for begginers anyway

  • Haha exactly..

And you really don't use it on the street either..

  • he obviously said use it for racing

  • SUCCKKKK

  • yea man that was like the worst video i saw on heel and toe

  • you don't know shit, so just stfu. Some cars are easier to do it with and if you have a large foot you don't even need to use your heel.

    fucking noob.

  • what's wrong with his shoes?

  • Those shoes look too small

  • haha lol that car is so gay no affence

  • on some cars it's alot easier to do it that way, but I agree..he sucks

  • He hits some good points, I learned alot actually.

  • no that guy's an idiot, why make a training video when you can't even do it yourself.

  • wow, its a pt cruiser.. and you guys honestly dont know shit about fuck

  • First, learn how to spell.

Second, He never said his vehicle is for racing.

Third, This is to teach advanced driving techniques.

Fourth, "My dads car"? Sounds like you can even drive yet. So grow up and learn to actually drive.

  • LOL BRAGGING ABOUT YOUR DADS CAR OKAY FAGGOT GROW UP, GET YOUR PERMIT AND ASK TO LET DADDY TO USE HIs CAR.

  • haha, you're kidding right?

  • Wrong/Bad Heel-Toe Technique

  • ma ki è stu pisellin

  • he looks homeless

  • I thought the same thing. He's like one of those it's-hip-to-be-homeless 30-something hippie beggars you see on St. Mark's in the East Village with a sign that says "NEED MONEY FOR A FALAFEL PLEAS HELP" taped to their vintage yellow Peugeot racing bike.

  • hahahha!! is this video a joke?
