@fistfuck88 Sonic Unleashed didn't suck. Jeez, just because it doesn't follow this formula exactly anymore, that doesn't mean it's bad. This is like a video game character's childhood. Sonic was a simple game here and was fun, but now it's obsolete. And running is way too simple now. Why do you think they added the gimmicks? For variety and something new. And they worked well. Just because it's different, it doesn't make it some sin. It's evolution. Neither old or new are bad. They're both good.

I think games like this is a perfect example one why when we were young, we could play video games and not be corrupted by the extreme graphic images you see in games today. We were still afforded a childhood because they weren't all about shooting and killing people, they were just for entertainment. So sad that the youth of today only thing about playing Call of Duty and Halo...so sad!

I used to be a MASTER at this game. At 8 years old, I was able to obtain the emeralds without a hitch, and trounce dr. eggman with little effort. 16 years later, and I can barely pass Marble Zone. Of course, my original Sega and I parted in '97 when Genesis was "teh suck" what with the newer systems lulling me in.

I am glad to be playing old school sonic again, though its now on the 360 w/ the ultimate Genesis compilation.
