Well, I just subbed your channel since I'm back again! The last version I had of this on my 1963 list had 114K hits before it ghosted out. I've got 125 songs on my 1963 playlist & just had to replace a dozen of them (& I found all but one of them, so what are the copyright cops gaining?) I guess our hats should be off to the kind rightsholders who are willing to say live & let live! With lists for every year since 1900, I've got a long ways to go replacing all my 'ghosts'!chuck
Erik and Willard each played twelve-string guitars during this recording. They played in tandem multiplying the power of the guitars for a really big sound. Very innovative. I did a cover of this one and played against myself with an overdub. It's not as easy as you would think!

Folk hadn't completely given way to pop when I was small and I remember this song very well. Not sure I completely understood it, but I loved it.
