The $30 a month deal is fantastic, but I personally have pay for the $45/month unlimited plan. I get unlimited texts, minutes, and data usage! There is definitely not a better deal anywhere else. Straight Talk uses the Verizon network, and I never have dropped calls either.

@TheCTJason Ya, ST is on the Verizon network and the At&t networks, so we get the best coverage from the biggest networks in the country! And we get to save a $ while we are getting the best coverage. Don't know why you'd be with anyone else

I read all the wonderful comments about Straight Talks $45.00 unlimited deal and decided that this might be the better option for my son. Well, I am saving approximately $102.00 monthly and the family is more peaceful since the fighting has stopped. I opted for a better type phone (Samsung R451C from Walmart) which has put a smile to the his face.

I have my Straight Talk phone on automatic renewal so it renews my minutes every month without having to out buy a time card. This feature is great because i know exactly what I am paying for every month. When I had my contract phone, I used to dread expecting my cellphone bill; not anymore : )

Why do I think the Straight Talk unlimited plan is better than the other unlimited prepaid plans? Some plans also charge $45 / month but don't offer free unlimited web, free unlimited calls to 411 and they charge a connection fee when joining. Those same companies also don't have the superior coverage to give you the quality reception you want and those same companies still do send statements every month. Some companies also charge $50 for unlimited so you see Straight Talk's the best option.

They run on Verizons network so the coverage is excellent. She is right about the teen appeal to Straight Talk. The All you need $30 monthly plan gives you 1000 minutes, 1000 sms's and 30mb web.
