....The only thing I have to say is that it touched me and affected me

    So deep ...so beautiful..so so so !!! <3 LOVE IT <3 <3

  • This piece is the most moving, most beautiful dance routine I have seen. Every time I see it, I get emotional. Wonderful Tyce.

  • Lets be balanced - fabulous routine - emotional and on message - yet Lithgows's comments go for the exact period of time as the routine. Go figure?

  • I never really liked dance to much until I seen this. I never thought of dance putting out a message. This changed the way I look at dance. Thanks Tyce for this.....

  • this piece is simply amazing. there are really no words to express the effect this has on everyone especially people who directly been affected by breast cancer. Does anyone know what date this dance was on the show for the first time?

  • Brings me to tears every single time.

  • I SAW THAT PIECE THE NIGHT IT WAS SHOWN AND IT DID MOVE ME.

MY FAMILY HAS BEN AFFECTED BY THE EVIL "C" SO I KNOW WHAT

FEELS AND THE FEARS AND HOPES IT BRINGS.I HAVE NEVER SEEN

    A ROUTINE AFFECTED SO MANY.ESPECIALLY THE JUDGES.ADEL

AND MELISSA WERE THE RIGHT DUAL FOR THAT PERFORMANCE.

    TYCE,THANK YOU.

  • this is my favr8 dance routine ever ! miss SYTYCD!

  • i didint cry .. i feel like a bad person :O

  • if anyone didn't like this you should be disapointed in yourself

  • Sarah drew from Greys is in the audience. Her and Elen are so fortunate to have been able to see such poetry in motion live. Ade ,my favorite dancer ever!!

  • 6:39 pause it right there!!! Thats hannah from everwood! RANDOM MUCH?

  • 21 people must be Evan fans

  • This dance was dedicated to my dance teacher, and it still gives me chills and makes me cry every time I watch it.

  • witch episode?

  • the whole video-the story behind it,the dancing, the judges esp mia-never fails to bring at least a few tears to my eyes no matter how many times i watch it.

  • One of the best dances of all time. Sill relevant to today. Beautiful. Still emotional over a year later. Best of all time,'

  • the first time i watched this i literally bawled

  • Okay. Crying now.

  • The best thing was being apart of Women's Work choreographed by Michele Larkin in appreciation of this routine for her. Best two years doing that routine . Thank you Tyce and Michele.

  • oy 6:40min...isn't that the annoying chick form Grey's Anatomy?

  • Glitches alot D;

  • My aunt has stage 4 breast cancer. Thank you for giving me an emtional release.

  • amazing <3

  • Mia's speech brings me to tears everytime

  • Before my grandma died from breast cancer this was one of her favorite dance pieces and it got to her so bad she could not stop crying

  • Everyone I had watch this dance cried. I have never been moved so much by dance...

  • holy fuck :')

  • I have watched this at least 25 times in the last week--unblievably poignant. I love dancers and choreographers--Tyce is pure genius and Ade as well and the beautiful ballet dancer-----I am entranced. Thank you for posting this high level video. Love love love to you.

  • When Mia chokes up and Tyce starts crying...my god.

  • Having both my grandmas and 1 grandpa pass away due to cancer this video touched me deep. I wish I had gotten to know my grandpa better since I was really young when he passed. I will always always remember the times I had with my grandmas and I will always love them all.

  • mia's comment really touvhed me because I felt like I could connect with what she was saying and I really feel for her :(

  • i cried and cried not because of the dance but because of the message that they were portraying... My best friend had cancer and I wish I'd had that strenght to not stop her from giving in but in a way I feel as though I failed her and did not act like I should have. I really miss her and want her back.:*(

  • ...i bawled

  • i cant stop watching this. soooo beautiful

  • i didnt cry during the dance.....i cried when Mia Michaels was speaking.

  • What's up with people changing videos to make them unavailable for playback on iPhones?

  • my favorite e piece on SYTYCD

  • when melissa hits ade's chest during the dance my eyes well up

  • when mia cries, i cry.

  • Still one of the most unforgettable numbers on the show. Whenever dancers are doing an emotional piece, my mind always, always, always comes back to this piece. Almost surreal....

  • This piece breaks me down every time. The same parts still give me the same shivers 3 seasons later! This is truly amazing!

  • God I love Ade. As Nigel once quipped on the show, 'What a difference Ade makes'. He is still one of my favorite dancers of all time.

  • I don't wanna spoil the mood or anything, but the girl from 6:39-6:42 plays Irene Keppler in Greys Anatomy right??!!!

  • I just lose it when mia starts crying

  • Amazing. Even if i didn't like this dance (how could you not) but I wouldn't be able to do thumbs down just out of respect.

  • I love the old stage!

  • Is that a younger Lady Gaga? 6:46

  • this had to be the most emotional i ever saw the panel in the history of sytycd

  • This dance is for my dance teacher Michele Larkin, who they mentioned in the beginning. Her breast cancer is gone. <3

  • @lovejustisxx that's awesome news! :)

  • @lovejustisxx That is so wonderful to hear about Michele!

  • if they had a "best ofs" episode of sytycd this would be one of them!

  • I haven't had experience with cancer either from first-hand or not but still when i watched it todayou don't have to have dealt with cancer the message is so powerful it touches so deep inside everyone who is watching it

  • after season 5, sytycd was no good.

  • i cried on this one

  • Comment removed

  • When YOU face a crisis in life and depend on God and others for your strength, this is a piece that touches you to the core. I was MORE than grateful for this number when I needed to see it the most.

    "Selah"

  • Actually did see this without the volume the first time, happened to be somewhere the volume wasn't up. Still amazing.

  • Everything Mia Michaels says is so touching. This routine leaves me breathless.

  • 7:23 made me cry

  • Does anybody have a better quality version of this? Like as amazing as this is, it would just be even more incredulous in 1080 :)

  • It's mostly the music that's touching. Try playing the choreography in mute if you don't believe me.

  • Pause at 6:39 ! isn't that the girl from grey's anatomy? :O

  • @berniemamb yeah kepner or however you spell her name...

  • how can you NOT cry when you see this routine?

  • How can anyone dislike this?

  • Dr Kipner @ 06:40 heehee

  • not trying to be rude or something, but i don't understand how a dance can send a message about cancer..

sorry, i'm just not the dancer kinda people, i know nothing about dancing.

  • @ramybes1com

It's the emotion the dance conveys, through their movements a story is told. You don't have to know a damn thing about dance to be able to FEEL when you see something like this and be touched.

  • @ramybes1com

dance can show so many emotions that you can't even think

when you dance you feel the music and you can feel every move every massage that the song tell's and how you dance you tell the message with your body your steps your face and your hearth

  • @ramybes1com This comment just made you seem so much more ignorant than you already are. If you want to avoid being trolled on, then don't bother commenting on a topic you have no knowledge on.

  • @aznbgirl06 You pathetic asshole, when i commented this i clearly said i mean no harm with it, so you're saying that if have no idea about dancing then i should just ignore dancing? what a pathetic loser you are.

  • @ramybes1com Even then it sounds very ignorant. And I apologize if I don't consider myself a 'pathetic asshole' or a 'pathetic loser'.

  • @ramybes1com Then why watch the show and comment? You don't need to be a dancer to understand emotion.

  • @ramybes1com it took me a while too feel the emotion that comes from a dance too. but for me it just took finding the right routine and even joining a dance class and now this piece brings me to tears every time. i personally didn't find your comment rude or disrespectful at all.

  • absolutely breathe takingly beaautiful.

  • politics

     don't get it

  • I don't know how many other ways there are for me to say that I love Tyce Diorio.

This is such a mesmerizing dance.... beautiful stuff.

  • its crushing to see Nigal unable to turn around ....CRUSHING.

  • 19 people have no rhythm, souls and Karma will get them.

  • this was beautiful. Tyce is amazing.

  • jeanine's sister at 6:58 ?

  • @krissiecrossie Yup.

  • goose bumps everywhere <3

  • the 19 people who disliked this never had an experience with cancer or someone with cancer

  • So emotional, so touching and so beautifully danced.

  • This piece is so good, my fiance cried.

  • like x million!! Soo beautiful!!!

  • beautiful routine!

  • Injustice, I don't know how this didn't get nominated.

  • I remember watching this , me and my mom both cried on the couch . This is just beautiful .

  • This is SO beautiful

  • the 19 people who disliked this are horrible people! and are completely heartless!

  • Mia's commetns at the end moved me the most. ANd i couldn 't help but cry too. What a powerful speech (analysis) of the dance and i completely understand how mia went through when her dad was struggling with cancer

  • God, that just gets to me every time I see it.

  • My Goodness I cant get enough of this show!

  • how can people dislike this? to me, its the most emotional and perfect dance in this whole show. it was, and still is a never forget performance. I think that the people who disliked this were more focused on the steps than the story and message. Dislikers, Melissa was talking to you.

  • this is the only dance thats made Nigel cry!!

  • My best friend died of cancer shortly after I saw this, so it still touches me in a way no other art form ever has. It's simply breathtaking! R.I.P. Hermide Pierre Toussaint. I love and miss you so very much. :'-(

  • I am a very manly strong guy and this video brings me to my knees everytime I see it!! Nothing more that beyond OUTSTNADING!!

  • stunning.

  • @ 6:39 to 6:42 was that april from Grey"s Anatomy or am i jus seeing things?

  • @Nessertz

    yep, it's her.

  • @Nessertz i was just about to ask the same thing...lol i think it is

  • gets me every fucking time....

im so glad that no one else did this piece, thank you tyce <3

  • I cry everytime I watch this <3

  • wuaw!!! that it only think i say wuaw!!!

  • I want to dedicate this piece to my late aunt Donnalynn..

  • I showed this to my aunt, thinking that she'd like it, but she loathed it! She thought making a dance about a tragedy as personal as breast cancer was in the worst taste. She was really disgusted. She hated Mia Michaels' heaven dance, too. Be careful with whom you share things you love.

  • @major600 I'm sorry you're aunt feels that way. It should be the message that shines through, that those enduring cancer are not alone in their struggle. The dance is just a medium for that message. Personally, I don't see how a dance meant to honor the people who struggle with cancer can possibly be seen as made in poor taste. The same is true of any form of art that accomplishes the same effect, in my opinion.

  • @major600 - your aunt is certainly entitled to her own opinion, but speaking as one who is currently dealing with cancer in her family, I have to say that this piece is absolutely outstanding. The strength and love shown by Ade and Melissa are inspiring. The heaven dance you spoke of is another of my favorites. Always love. Always.

  • 6:58 Alexis Mason?

  • 6:58 Alexis Mason?

  • the girl at 6:41 is april from Grey's Anatomy. LOL

  • The fact that the judges, in particular Nygel were so moved by this performance, even though he had previously seen it first performed in the UK version, to me, speaks volumes. This version was much better, given that melissa was more mature and understood that this performance was more than just the steps. Ade's strength was just the icing on the that put this version over the top. My all-time favorite routine.

  • I choke up everytime I see this

  • chills literally all over my body. tyce, you are amazing. most beautiful dance I've ever seen.

  • Season 2 and 4 were good. REALLY good but two of the greatest pieces of work that I've ever seen came from S5. The Addiction piece and this incredibly empowering piece about breast cancer were on my mind for days. Nigel said it best. Dance allows you to communicate something so powerful without words....

  • I met Tyce at a dance convention, he was a teacher, about 7 years ago. Everyone was swooning. He was nice, but seemed a bit arrogant. I was young though. Regardless though, brilliant choreographer. Brilliant.

  • i cried..reminded me of my grandmother...R.I.P

  • oh, i'm so sorry to ask such a thing after this dance, but is the girl at 6:41 doctor keppner from grey's anatomy..? :-/

  • @wlx I was thinking the same thing!!!

  • a dance between a beautiful life and a solemn death....beautifully rendered. I will never forget this.

  • This dance made me cry SO hard! I love it <3

  • This dance made me cry SO hard! I love t <3

  • Mia's commentary pushed it over the edge.

  • the 19 people who disliked this are heartless.

  • i love this! i watch SYTYCD not because i love dance n can dance, but also because it touches something in me especially with contemporary pieces like this one! my gosh i cried a lot watching this and i wanna thanks Desmond Richardson who co-created this style and produced such brilliant choreographers and dancers!

  • Can't watch this without crying. Makes me think of my grandmother who passed away from complications with cancer 6 years ago. She was one of the most beautiful and strongest women I've ever known, and this dance is just that, strong and beautiful. Thank you Tyce Diorio.

  • i cry every time. so beautiful♥

  • 2 months ago my aunt ended her 8 year journey of bone cancer, she is the strongest person ive ever known and she is so beautiful this piece is sooooo beautiful thankyou Tyce Diorio for sharing this with the world

susan murphy and anyone else who has died becuase of cancer RIP<3

  • I CRY EVERYTIME.

  • 6:47 the girl behind that girl with blonde hair and black clothes looks like a girl version of steven tyler (aerosmith)

  • The quality of the video reminds me of a VHS.

  • Excellent all around on every count!

  • 19 people don't know what horros and troubles a woman with breast cancer go through, they don't know those women's wok <3

  • Chills, tears, love.

  • one word insparational

  • @macyluvsu4ever well thats not a word, however INSPIRATIONAL is what I think you meant and yeah if that was it I agree with you

  • 19 people have no taste in dance nor have no heart for disliking something thats representing Cancer...This was amazing.

  • i'm crying right now

  • Is that Sarah Drew from Grey's anatomy at 6:40?

  • The highest achievement in dance is not to win titles, trophies, or competitions, but it is to move and touch people. Melissa and Ade certainly did that through Tyce's choreography in this beautiful tribute to millions of people forced to muster up the courage to battle cancer. It just doesn't get better.

  • OMG it made me cry so much!!! loved the performance

  • everytime i watch this i always cry this is one of the most beautiful dances ive ever seen

  • 19 people have no heart

  • Why the fuck are there 19 dislikes.

  • Very beautiful. I love it!

Parabéns Ade e Melissa. Se ñ fosse a emoção dos 2, a coreografia, por mais bela que ela seja, ñ teria encantado e feito tanta gente chorar...

  • 1 in 16000 people is a robot.

  • God ! I've never cry so much in my life ...

  • Fiquei aos prantos ao ver algo tão lindo, isso é a arte da dor!

  • brilliant, these two are perfect together..the energy is incredible

  • Es lo más emocional y hermoso que he visto!!! T-T

  • just beautiful.

  • It was just beautiful. I saw it on a cable channel just this week. I can't think of a better way, in so short time, how to people can show the pain and the strugle that is fighting cancer. My mom died of this and I is just the live image of her in this dance... Surely one of the most beautiful but also sad things I've seen in my life... Also from Venezuela supporting the show but mostly the Performing Arts. There is nothing that can express better the human emotions but throug art...

  • amaizing i see from venezuela

  • I just saw this piece here in my countrie Venezuela. and I just have to say: IT WAS AMAZING!!! I've been crying since I saw it! Honestly, This performance tkae my breath far away!! Thanks to So You Think You Can Dance for giving us too much talent! Thanks dor everything!! My best wishes for you! Greetings from Venezuela!!..

  • seeing Tyce's face in the audience makes me bawl even morethan i already am :'(

  • No matter how amazing a dance is, there're always some people don't like it. I just don't get it. Something must go really wrong with them.

  • If you didn't cry looking at this I know you got teary eyed. I remember when I saw this the first time. Gives you chills

  • The first time I saw this in tv I cried even thought I don't have a friend or family who have a cancer! But when I found out just last month one of my friend had a cancer! I cry more than to her but when she show me this dance routine n telling me she need me to be strong for her! I will never forget this dance routine!

  • At around 6:40 is that April from Grey's Anatomy??

  • @zz878 I thought the same thing!!!!!!!! It looks just like her!

  • @zz878

    Sure looks like her...
