  • "Haven't you heard it's a battle of words"

    :)

  • THE Best Progressive rock band EVER

  • @William6likes6Rock you could get rid of the word "Progressive" and thestatement would still be true.

  • @cryingskies77 i agree

  • @William6likes6Rock haha but there are some idiots out there who would TRY and argue that FACT.

    lol

  • I happened to hear this on the radio and was loved how deep and complex, and somehow otherworldly and haunting this song is. Hen I listened to the whole Dark Side of the Moon Album and was amazed at what I'd been missing out on!

  • Where's the rest of this song??

  • Noone can EVER compare to the Floyd in my opinion. I have heard every one of their album songs, but they never get old. I can listen to the song echoes like three or four times a day, and it never gets tiring, and its 24 fucking minutes long!

  • @NaturalBornHippie1 Dude I know exactly how you feel, I live off of pink floyd. every day ahhahaha. And good point in bringing up echoes, best song created. Maybe not best, but wayy up there. Keeps the joints a rollin!

  • i usually don't comment stuff

but this...is like......far out the best thing goin

  • This is scene has 35 years !!!!!!!!!!

    Pink floyd =) Imortalls

  • thanks for Posting' but the Visual is dreadful.........

  • perfect song,looks like i 'm in heaven...

    so relaxing!

  • one of the best live versions, it's a shame that is not complete

  • to me the most powerfull song ever

    pink floyd = imortalls !!!!

  • Perhaps one of the less noticeable aspects of the album is the ability of Richard Wright and David Gilmour to perfectly harmonise with each other, such as on "Us and Them" and "Time". In The Making of The Dark Side of the Moon, a 2003 DVD documentary on the making of the album, Roger Waters attributes this to the fact that, along with their talent, their voices both sound extremely similar.

  • didn't you just copy that from wikipedia lol...

  • @kikomiko1 No mate i never use wikepedia it is compiled by ignorant fools.

    Merry christmas

  • @TheUtubesuxass

Really, because this is what it says on Wikipedia:

"Several tracks, including "Us and Them" and "Time", are notable for demonstrating Richard Wright and David Gilmour's ability to harmonise their voices. In The Making of The Dark Side of the Moon, a 2003 DVD documentary on the production of the album, Roger Waters attributes this to the fact that their voices both sound extremely similar."

    Hmmmmmm.....

  • @kikomiko1 wikki is full of other info collected off the net, please feel free to use it as a source for research.

  • Did "kikomiko1" ask you "TheUtubesuxass", in the first place?

    I shouldn't think so.

I thought "lordvonza" was then person uploading this clip...

    Hmm...

Correct me, if I happen to be wrong.

  • I love em.

  • amazing song

  • THE MOST POWERFULL SONG ever

    Pink floyd = Immortals

  • great relaxing song pink floyd s the best

  • RIP RICHARD WRIGHT!!!!!!!!! We love you!!!

  • like a delicate thunder your death shot my hearth.

    r.i.p wright

  • and we remember you. thanks for all!

  • Is this Gilmour singing? I know he sings on the record but it doesn't quite sound like him for whatever reason here.

  • Okay, I think it is...hearing that awful off-key voice at "FORWARD HE CRIED FROM THE REAR" confirms that ROger was not singing the beginning. Roger: brilliant lyricist, horrible singer.

  • Thats definitely Gilmour singing his parts, but it sounds like someone different is doing the echoes of his voice.

Wow, even this short bit is so wonderful. I wish I had the chance to go back in time so that I could see them live. I wouldn't go back for any other reason but to see them.

  • Rick is singing the other parts. He was always the extra singer with dave, all the harmonies are his.

  • i know what you mean. dark side of the moon came out 10 years before i was even born. I was never able to see them live either

  • It's Gilmour singing with the female backing vocalists doing the 'echoes'.

  • what a song

  • pink floyd=the best

  • the most powerfull song ever

    pink floyd = immortals

  • agreed my favorite ever

  • why the hell is there a burning cross on the video!?!?!?!

  • Why is the logo for the Methodist church a burning cross?

  • there's so much more feeling to the live version.

  • but where is the band?

  • It doesnt have the band, its a clip to the music only. And the song is live from 1974.

  • do u no if there is any video from the dark side of the moon tour?

  • Yes.Live in Boston '73.Saw them in Toronto that same year.Mind blowing.Soul wrenching. If I try hard enough,I can still feel it. jamisiriusvox.

  • @lordvonza Thanks for the upload.

  • @dgtal in early floyd´s concerts, they didn´t appear as the most part fo the bands, they proyect images relationated to the songs

  • With, without:

And who'll deny that's what the fightings all about

  • There's such a beauty about this song that it's really hard to describe :)

  • I agree
