Regards to the oil, you forget all the investment by all countries. Scotland would have to repay Wales NI and England for that, and that the oil supplies will do very little to cover the shared amount of national debt. The UN itself has a huge flaw, the Commonwealth can in theory take the majority vote. Democracy maybe but a group of nations could control its outcomes. The EU is not democractic AT ALL. The EU commission is not elected, we have the EU parliament which is voted but its role is advisor, usually ignored. The Irish, French and Portuguese all voted NO to the EU constitution, we still got it, Blair put someone into the house of lords to ensure British couldnt vote.

P.S. You cannot blame English people for Scotland being sparsly populated and thus having less members. Why should 70,000 share one MP in England and 60,000 share one in Scotland, Britain is a democracy and people should be equally represented. The debt is share by all the UK and the Scottish oil is no where near enough to cover a calculated share, then there is the monumentous challenge of setting up a new country financially.
Tories are infamous for cutting, but labour are infamous for spending, look at the history for the past century Tories cut, Labour spends. Perhaps they could work together and we could have reasonable spending thus not requiring all the cutting when we run out of money.
Because it would be Scotland leaving the UK, so the country the UK would still exist with NIreland and Wales, and still be in the EU. Scotland would need to apply to join the EU -which requires all current members to agree, what if the UK vetoed Scotlands application after their Imperialistic act? I'm an A-level economics student and I would never have sold Gold under such conditions. Gordon was completely useless as chancellor. In fact, even before I studied A-level economics I would be able to think of numerous reasons as to why that is a bad Idea. Regards to the oil, you forget all the investment by all countries. Scotland would have to repay Wales NI and England for that, and that the oil supplies will do very little to cover the shared amount of national debt. Scotland has the oil England has the gas, it would be foolish to disunite. If we left Europe we could trade with our bigger more similar nontotalitarian Commonwealth. The UN itself has a huge flaw, the Commonwealth can in theory take the majority vote. Democracy maybe but a group of nations could control its outcomes. The EU is not democractic AT ALL. The EU commission is not elected, we have the EU parliament which is voted but its role is advisor, usually ignored. The Irish, French and Portuguese all voted NO to the EU constitution, we still got it, Blair put someone into the house of lords to ensure British couldnt vote.

The debt is share by all the UK and the Scottish oil is no where near enough to cover a calculated share, then there is the monumentous challenge of setting up a new country financially.
Tories are infamous for cutting, but labour are infamous for spending, look at the history for the past century Tories cut, Labour spends. Perhaps they could work together and we could have reasonable spending thus not requiring all the cutting when we run out of money.

Because it would be Scotland leaving the UK, so the country the UK would still exist with NIreland and Wales, and still be in the EU. Scotland would need to apply to join the EU -which requires all current members to agree, what if the UK vetoed Scotlands application after their Imperialistic act? Not to mention new EU members are Required to sign up to the Euro. We watch oil tear the middle east apart, only Scotland is stupid enough to let it happen in Europe.

Inspirational.I, m irish and it's sickening how our government rolls over to acommidate the e.u I was stunned and infuriated when i was asked to vote again on the Lisbon treaty. Needless to say i voted no both times. But did that change anything? No.So now they have called for even tighter connections between eu states due to the economic collapse which they designed so they could futher their own plans for a United states of Europe.I have more to say but that's ll i have space for. I found it astonishing the main story on the BBC news at 10 last night was that Britain is not backing this idiot for the head of the IMF. This shows how pro-Labour the BBC really is. This is someone who not only has failed, but has not shown any regret for the actions he took as chancellor or PM in crippling our nation! I'm delighted that he's been ignored- I thought it was a joke when I heard it might happen!
Want to blame the banks? Blame GB- he let the banks do what they want unregulated.

I'm an A-level economics student and I would never have sold Gold under such conditions. Gordon was completely useless as chancellor. In fact, even before I studied A-level economics I would be able to think of numerous reasons as to why that is a bad Idea. This video shows the importance of having a party in power, with strong principles, but at the same time being willing to listen to the people and restore power to the people.
Well done in the EU elections UKIP, I wish you every success.
