yes, as I wrote in the description, not only vocals have been edited: this video is in playback, only drums are live. For example: I played guitars with the tab before my eyes, learning little sections and recording them immediately (and forgetting it immediately). I did 2 takes using a 3 string bass :) It took me only 3 days to do everything, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. Check my live videos if you want to know how i really sing. It doesn't make me(or them) good nor incredible singers. How long will you hold the note? How strong? emotions we see or not at all? how precise are you? Variations? Stunning performance! You really nailed the whole thing! The fact that you could reach that last note is amazing. You're good at all these instruments!

If I may, though, some constructive criticism. You really do need better mics for your drums, toms in particular I couldn't really hear. Also, for the fills at the 1:11, I do believe he's using mostly toms, and doing some flam/jumpy note combinations. Your fills were good and they still fit the song, just a observation. Again, well done!

hehe you've got good ears: of course i triggered toms and bass drum (with drumagog)... the mikes I used cost 8 euros each (i'm not kiddin')!

I don't remember what I did on the snare. There's only one overhead and it's shitty too :)

I just wanted something better than the videocamera's integrated microphone, experimenting audio/video editing at the same time... thanx for carefully listening! :P

yes, but the last two notes come from another take ( i don't have enough lungs to sing in in one take... but the pitch is mine: it's the highest note i can reach (it could be done quite better than I did) :)

I doubt Daniel did the whole scream in one take, try to carefully listen to the last three notes from the original version.

Anyway Daniel is a great singer, one of my favourites, and not (only) because of that scream in reconciliation, which is just a technical issue ;)

thanks, I used Ulead video studio. I simply rendered 4 times, each time with an added square.

I used Sonar for recording, with POD and drumagog plug in (my karaoke micros are high original chinese-quality) :)

The piano part is half live and half midi. Bass is simply shitty. I payed 0 Euro for this Video, it took me 3 days (I just passed an examination) :)
