  • That's a cool video. Just a few questions though...

    1. How many LEDs did you use for your project?

    2. How are you controlling the LEDs (my best guess is an Arduino Mega board)?

    3. What are the dimensions for your finished infinity mirror?

    4. More information on how you wired the LEDs (like the components you used) would be nice to know too... :]

  • Hello, I did one but my tunnel is more orientated like to the sides of the frame, how did you do it to be inwards the mirror?:)

    Best Wishes

  • @mushi4kata1 I think i got an explanation, maybe it is because I'm using a led strip not individual leds? they reflect light in a different way?

  • ...Oh god make three Giant ones, put inside of a Police Box, achieve TARDIS.

  • see this? this... hahaha... this, THIS IS WHY WE DONT DIVIDE BY ZERO PEOPLE. ima need to make a call with god to fix this.

  • love the turn in it

  • 1. Make a huge mirror like this (without bottom edge led's)

    2. Mount it in front of your garage door.

    3. Wait untill someone tries to drive trough it!

  • @kalaandroid But then you get a broken mirror :(

  • @n33wom and a broken garage door

  • @kalaandroid trough??? *through* it

  • @kalaandroid haha XD that would be hilarious, or walk through it

  • I would actually try to walk through...

  • I have an idea! you make 2 of them 1 with blue light and one with yellow put them on the opposite side of a room and try to jump through them XD

  • @steve445467 lol wtf!

  • Stargate

  • witchcraft!

  • @n33wom did u use normal leds or diffused leds?

  • @mrGlekkev After researching the difference, im pretty sure i used clear/normal ones.

  • @n33wom thank you very much for the help appriciate it.

  • portals XD

  • @TheIcedude545 I have heard so many portal references I don't think I can ever bring myself to play the games ever again xD

  • @n33wom

Oh you wait until those horrible nerdy Skyrim kids get here with their ''I used to travel blah blah portals and something with an arrow and their knee'' O_O its destroying the world!

  • @Loliaz Nerdy Skyrim kids? I used to be one of those...... then I took an arrow in the knee.

  • @Loliaz xD

  • @n33wom How did you make this?

  • @n33wom now you just need an orange one... XDD

  • imagine this in a daft punk helmet

  • am mindfucked O_o

  • !!!!SWAG!!!!

  • Better close it before ghasts come out.

  • the cake is a lie.

  • need more colors xD that would be tripping xD

  • Please can you tell me, exactly what kind of window tint have you used? How much light pass through? And you placed it both side of the plastic? Thank you! I like your job!

  • @janaboy82 Without trying to be too sarcastic, I have no idea of the kind of window tint i used. I literally just typed in "window tint" on eBay and then bought the cheapest one that wasn't from china xD. The window tint is only on one side of the front panel. The panel at the back of the mirror IS a ready-made mirror (perspex one).

  • @TheKILLAHUNT Try and climb into probably xD

  • I see blue rims

  • is there going to be... cake?

  • Tutorial?

  • @GeeSammyMe Don't have the money right now :P

  • @n33wom How much would it cost?

  • what program did you use to control the LEDs ??

    Gr Frysk

  • @GekkeFrysk My daughter is going to America.

  • @n33wom hello everyone how are you FINE THANK YOU!

  • @mojotheaverage Troll my page again and i shall PULL OUT YOUR TONGUE!

  • the grid

  • look at the title genius, how made or how show?

  • @kingabdelbig I'm sorry but I do understand the question... in fact im not sure if that even was a question.

  • I know how they do that

  • Sweet. I love it how dimming down the LEDs gives the effect of it becoming less deep.

  • I meant to say "into" the mirror and the one I'm looking at which is 16" by 24" only seems to go about 2 inches in which I don't really like. So you think that might have something to do with the reflectability of the tint? I am going to e-mail the guy about his kit and ask him as he said he has made several of these and sells these kits online. I will let you know what he says if you like. Thanks for the info though.

  • @huddylou22 I didn't exactly come top of the class in physics but I would guess that the deepness of the tunnel comes from two factors:

    1. The intensity of the lights

    2. The level of reflection in the tint

*So in increase in both would lead to a longer tunnel ^^

  • I don't get it, what is that

  • @VicariousReality7 I'm too tired to come up with a witty response xD. Its a wooden frame with mirrors in, that uses the physics of light to create a really awesome 'infinity-like' effect with LEDs.

  • Is there anyone who actually made this and would like to give me suggestions, please? Thank you!

  • I need me one of those...

  • This is the best one I have ever seen! Great job! I am going to make one now! I have watched several videos on them. Can I ask what type of LED lights you used? Also if you don't mind sharing how much you spent total on materials.

  • @huddylou22 I wouldn't be able to tell you the actual LED 'make' as they are some cheap lights from China xD. TBH, i just typed in 'blue fairy lights' on eBay until i found ones that i wanted. I can't remember too much about the materials, it was definitely under £30 including the perspex sheets, window tint and lights but I got the wood for free (no idea on wood prices).

  • @n33wom How much is that in US dollars? Is that acount $60 or $70 bucks. I found a kit online, but for a big one like that he wants $150 but it has a battery back that has 8 different settings. Does this one plug in or have a remote? Also what are the outside measurements (in inches if you can please). The one I found I think uses glass and the tunnel effect isn't as deep as this one. Is that due to the perspex bending like you said? The effect of depth seems to be about 8 inches in & on the...

  • @huddylou22 I reckonnn, if you search around a bit, you could get the materials for about $40. I always go for plug adaptors rather than batter packs. I would never pay that much for a kit, though its the wood i can see being a problem for some people to get. As for the lights, lol, i just looked, you can get the exact same lights as i did (with the 8 different settings, has a control box with a button) for less than $8 on eBay.

  • @huddylou22 ALSO, 'fairy lights' AKA Christmas Tree lights, are awesome for things like this, as they often come with built in light sequences for really cool effects :D.

  • What song is this someone @tell me

  • very nice infinity mirror!! i'm thinking of making one but i dont know what kind of tint i should get, black, chrome , 15% 35%..... which one did you use? hope mine will look as good as yours!

    thanks

  • @ramuthraGW im realllly not sure what my tint was. But I can only assume that as you increase the level of reflection on the tint, the further back the lights will appear to go!

  • Aw crap. Now I really want one. To bad I'm a kid. -_-

  • @robocu4 meh, its not like they're dangerous or anything, i didnt even use glass, (used transparent perspex plastic) so it can't shatter. You can buy them on the internet already made (though... they may have glass :S)

  • Cool i like that its like an illusion like falling down a LED hole no but that aside thats pretty awesome that you made this :D

  • @Librasrthebest Thanx :D, they aren't that hard too make, theres a several videos on the internet and quite detailed websites too.

  • @n33wom Yourwelcome :D and since it isnt hard to make(good to know) i can see myself getting the components needed and try making this!

  • NOW YOUR THINKING WITH PORTALS.

  • @VaderGuy9 You're*

  • @Ringwaul ONOEZ TEH GRAMMAR NAZIZ!!!!!

  • @VaderGuy9 Here to raid the idiot out of your basement and send it to pronunciation camps.

  • THAT'S A PIMPED OUT INFINITY MIRROR RIGHT THERE, BRO!

Anyways... this best one I've seen.

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick

  • Hi I would like to know with exactness where can I buy the paper mirror, can you give me the right name of this card? can you please write link , where I can acquistarl? thanks to all

  • awesome

  • Where you bought those LEDs?

  • @tommytube2103 Off eBay. I just searched for things like "blue LED fairy lights" until i found what i wanted. Price wasn't too bad either. Am sure there must be better places to buy them though.

  • @n33wom how do you program the lights to have a pattern though?

  • @nte0631 The ones I bought already had all the patterns programmed into them. They are just "fairy lights" (LEDs not Bulbs); the same ones you'd find outside a house or on a Christmas tree. That's how come they have so many patterns :). All those lights you see in there are connected on the same length of wire. Bought from eBay after searching for "Blue LED fairy lights" i think. They have a control box with something like 8 different light sequences.

  • how did you get those led's to move around?

i know how to make 1 led move around but you're doing it with 2 at the same time how? xD

  • @aomrulestotally They already came with 8 different sequences programmed into them. One of the sequences just happened to be making 2 move at once :S. It was part of their appeal, they were quite cheap (from ebay) and had all these nift sequences :D. I assume you're talking about programming and stuff? I'm sure you could find a website somewhere with information on it? Or ask around on a forum?

  • @n33wom

ok :) i thought it looked really good so i hoped to copy it xD

but i'll ask around sometime :) maybe some guys at school might have a solution :P

    thanks for the reply

  • make a tutorial

  • @weoponlover Plan to do something like this soon :)

  • Cool infinity mirror and good discription. I have just one guestion for you. What kind of a solution did you use for aplicating your window tint. Mine isn't the the sticky kind. For instance 250ml of water mixed with ...... ml of detergent?. It wil be used on glass surface. Any suggestions? Greetz

  • @Caskirnov The window tint i bought (i think it was the cheapest one i could find on eBay) came with its own instructions on the solution you should use. I don't know if the mix was specifically for the tint they provided though. The solution it suggested was simply 1 Teaspoon of washing up liquid to 1 pint of cold water. If you need more specific help with applying the tint, I can type out the instructions.

  • @n33wom Thanks...I've applied the 1.10m x 0.6m film before I read your comment. Damn 20 euro's down the drain. Could get all the air out easely but left like tiny little zits that deformed the reflection wich can't be poped. Maybe I need a special paint cabin. O well thanks anyway.

  • wow.. XD
