  • Thank you so much for this..saved my cats life!

  • Youtube SUCKS ...stupid commercial cuts into the beginning of the video all rudely

  • When we woke up this morning we found that our cat was acting weird. He continuously has been licking his behind, and cries in pain if we touch anywhere around his behind, including his back legs, and on top of his back near his tail.

Nothing irregular was in the litter box, but he hasn't gone in last 12 hours (I cleaned the box this morning and it's still clean). We're taking him to a vet tomorrow. I doubt it's a urinary tract infection, but this video was helpful. I hope my cat gets better...

  • @RustySporks How is he? I hope he's okay?

Ah, I had forgotten about posting that. The real problem wasn't very major at all. Upon closer inspection, the vet found that my cat had abscessed anal glands. The vet said my cat likely wasn't using the litter box because of the pain.

The vet cleaned it up, and my cat was on antibiotics for 10 days. He's better now, but he still has to wear a cone for a collar. Everything is 100%; I was overreacting when I thought he might have a urinary tract infection.

Oh! I'm so pleased for you! There's nothing worse than not knowing what's wrong and worrying about all the 'what if's'... I'm so happy your cat is fine though! I love my two cats to bits and I would be devastated if I thought something was going to happen to either of them, so I know how you felt!
