Why is this called as Indian Relay Races?

Is this meant to be Red-Indian Races?

I'm just querying because thats definitely not in India, neither the conductors nor the audience look like Indians.

Let me make these comments:

-In Wyoming, Native Americans refer to themselves as Indians.

-many cultures are known, by other cultures, by incorrect names. For instance, my culture of origin, Greek, is officially known as "Hellenic". How the Latins came up with "Greco" I have no idea. Somehow, the World still gets by and we don't all automatically get offended by things like this. :-)

I love it, I should post a bunch of my high purse indian relays I have on film. They are so fun to watch, it always pulls in a huge crowd. No, the animals are not handled rough, you need to realize they are high strung, and can be very difficult to deal with.

Those are some beautiul horses they loor really fit, and yeah they were handled a little rough but none! of them look mistreated!
