@bigwaverider1000 Bears also naturaly go for the throat and spine, and it doesnt take much bite power to break a lions or tigers spine.if you have the videos the post them or post the site to find these videos, becouse ive only seen them pit females against each other and under weight bears that are smaller then the cat.I have seen video of male lion haveing its balls bitten off in a hyena scuffle,though i cant ever find any these fight videos anymore.

In another YouTube video, a sloth bear chased away a tiger that was larger than the bear. That jackal was either very brave or very foolish. The bear did not want a confrontationn like the tiger in the other video. The sloth beasr could easily kill a puny jackal but just wanted peace and quiet.

In that YouTube video where the tiger ran away from the sloth bear, it showed that an animal will avoid another that it is able to beat if it does not feel like having a confrontation. Sloth bears are small and not a match for an adult tiger. Also, did you ever actually see a tiger kill a sloth bear? An animal at the site of a another dead animal does not mean it killed it. If you think bears are cowards, you are the one who is uninformed.

South Bears actually are quite aggressive and attack people more than you think. Google Sloth Bear of Mysore, and look for the high number of attacks that happened in India during the late 90's.

It's thought that these bears take in to much dirt when they eat termites and this causes them to get infections, which makes them surly.
