Id take the Ka mark1 (96-08) it has a far better chassis and therefore drives and handles much better in corners and bends. The mark1 Ka is a great fun drive.
Ka mark 2 which is based on the 500 has improved chassis over the 500 however it does not delvier the same kind of drive as the mark1.
The mark1 Ka (96-08) has one of the finest chassis in a small car and is a great fun drive.
Ford were cutting costs on the Ka mark2 which is why it is based on the fiat 500. Ford have improved the chassis and therefore it handles much better than the fiat 500 however the 500 has a larger variety of engines and thus is indeed the better choice when only considering the mark2 Ka.
Overall if people want a small car and to have a fun drive they should consider the Ka mark1
@678jasper678 No actually Fiat introduced the new Ford suspension setup with anti-roll bar from 2010 Fiat 500 and Abarth 500 models, so the Fiat 500 drives better. The Fiat 500 also achieved a 5 star EuroNCAP crash safety rating while the KA dos not. You can't even compare the original KA to these models. There is more to a car than just handling. The mark 1 KA was lacking in many areas especially safety and quality. Now thanks to Fiat they have a better quality product, although 500 is best buy
I love the Ka, but they are both based on the Panda platform..so they have the same soul..just different body panels and options. I like how the older 2006 Forda Kas look compared to the new ones, but I bet the new ones drive even better!!

the orginal KA has a better chassis nd therefore better handling to the new KA which is based on the Fiat 500!
