If this monstrosity passes and we (Republicans) get control of the Congress in 2011, can it be rescinded? Most of the provisions do not start for 4 years (except the taxes, of course). Primary care physicians cannot survive with Medicare cuts and still take care of Medicare and Medicaid patients!

@chuckisner For six years we had a 3% growth in the GNP and brough down joblessness to less than 5% in 2006, even though Speaker Hastert let Entitlements grow to historic levels. From January of 2007, we have had mortgage failures and joblessness go through the roof. This is not health care reform. Anyone who says so would claim releasing serial killers for population control is reform.

Met with Mike and am so glad to have him in D.C. not just for our district - not just for Texas - but for the entire United States of America. These are being fixed in the reconciliation bill, with the exception of the LA deal. But things are still messed up there from the hurricane.
."...promote the general Welfare" comes before the Comity Clause and that beloved Comity Clause will be the basis for repeal of DOMA.
