the comp nsr cams have way more power and tq gains but dont have the lopey idle we all look for in cams...

No, the comp NSR does not make way more power. Anywhere between 0 to 5 depending on supporting mods and tune. The only comps that make way more require springs and/or phaser. FRPP hot rods for NSR are the way to go.

I am getting a 5.8L block for my future 4.6L mustang GT. the block is made by MMR, and all the stuff from the 4.6 bolts on.

if you do not have a cai w/ tune, then you do not need retuning for these cams because the maf will compensate. if you DO have a cai with larger maf meter housing, hen you need to tune because the maf is gonna get confused.
