I recorded all the guitar parts, yes. There is no bass in the song, and the drums I programmed, but they aren't recorded they are done on the computer through MIDI

@supralightning i have ezdrummer, and drum kit from hell, just how do u get that drum sound? is it the thrash kit? what do u have for settings in the mixer?

@HeadBanger721 If I remember correctly its the default drumkit from hell kit. In the mixer, boost the kick to about +5.4.. I can't remember everything else but I probably messed with the comp mix or room mix, and I usually put each tom up to at least 0.

I haven't listened to much of them, some old school thrash the kick drum and double bass is actually really low, like Annihilator. For those kind of drums though, drumkit from hell really doesn't get the sound, at least I haven't been able to.

If you mean making an instrumental out of a song that has vocals, there might be some expensive programs to do it, but it will probably never sound quite right. You would want to remove just the vocal track, which means you would need the guitar tracks, drum tracks, everything seperate so you could take it out. If you already have a mixed mp3 with vocals, it is nearly impossible to get them out of there. Good luck though, try a google search ftw!

On this track I don't think I used any EQ.. The guitar had active pickups and I used revalver mkii to add distortion. It was all direct in, and no actual amp. I hope that helps
