I stopped watching wrestling when chris benoit died. Not because of what he did but because WWE wasn't the same without Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit.
Chris Benoit gave his life for the WWE. He did things few other men would do in the ring to entertain the fans, he lived his life on the road for the business he loved. He witnessed the tragically young death of one of his best friends Eddie Guerrero and still carried on. Benoit did a terrible thing, but no man alive can judge him for it. His death was a tragic accident, and Benoit should be remembered for all his talents and accolades, not one terrible moment.
He was my 2nd favorite wrestler next to Eddie Guerrero but when I heard what he did, I was ashamed to be looking up to this monster, Sad how he worked hard for the WWE but this cowardly act and now "Chris Benoit" never existed in WWE well I applaud to that.

I was a huge fan of chris benoit. Even to this day. He is the one that made me want to become a wrestler. I wanted him to train me. right after both chris and eddie passed on, the WWE has never been the same.

Those moves hurted him so much that he used painkillers to relieve the pain, and steroids to build muscles so he wouldn't hurt himself so much. In he end, his body couldn't take it, and he snapped. it's very hard as a fan to remember Chris Benoit without dealing with what happened to him and his family. it's very hard to keep him as the dedicated and beyond more then capable wrestler that he was. I truly loved him as a wrestler since his WCW days, it's just the Why? Why?, he did it that keeps me from looking at him as a great man. whatever the reason may be.
its a shame how his life ended he is one of the best wrestlers WWE has made in the past 15-10 years! Chris, who we all know had severe brain damage from the thousands upon thousands of blows to the head he suffered in his career, blacked out, and during the blackout, killed his family. When he woke, and realised what he had done, he couldn't live with himself. He took his life to be with his family. None of us can blame him for what he did given his mental state. He was one of my heroes and now my dream of meeting him is gone.
I think Eddie Guerrero's Death hit him hard and that he had a difficult time trying to move on. The WWE is a family. Chris and Eddie spent a lot more time together, than they did with their own families.
@aamorri1 also so it kinda wasnt his fault benoit had repeated concussions untreated by WWE throughout his wrestling career, ultimately leading to an unstable mental state. Benoit's brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient and had brain damage in all four lobes of the brain and brain stem. Maybe next time the fuckin wwe will treat people medically right, and they try to cover up there actions by pretending benoit never excisted.

Chris Benoit gave his life for the WWE. He did things few other men would do in the ring to entertain the fans, he lived his life on the road for the business he loved. He witnessed the tragically young death of one of his best friends Eddie Guerrero and still carried on. Benoit did a terrible thing, but no man alive can judge him for it. His death was a tragic accident, and Benoit should be remembered for all his talents and accolades, not one terrible moment.

I was a huge fan of chris benoit. Even to this day. He is the one that made me want to become a wrestler. I wanted him to train me. right after both chris and eddie passed on, the WWE has never been the same.
It is sad to say, but for me, my dream died with them.

The Wwe screwed him big time.
They knew he had huge talent not potential, he was just as good as Kurt Angle at freestyle and as hardcore as Mick Foley.
One championship and years of concussions is what they gave him.
As a wrestler he had my utmost respect but as a murderer i have mixed feelings about him as the brain damage can be blamed but who knows what made him crack up and snap.

The reason to why he did that, was beacause every week, he stepped into that ring, and did things that injured himself very badly, like the Diving Headbutt (done from different hights). Those moves hurted him so much that he used painkillers to relieve the pain, and steroids to build muscles so he wouldn't hurt himself so much. In he end, his body couldn't take it, and he snapped. He had a brain as a 85 year old with a brain damage when he died :(

it's very hard as a fan to remember Chris Benoit without dealing with what happened to him and his family. it's very hard to keep him as the dedicated and beyond more then capable wrestler that he was. its a shame how his life ended he is one of the best wrestlers WWE has made in the past 15-10 years! It just feels weird watching a Beniot match cause one of his finishers was a top rope headbutt...but that was the move that slowly killed him cause he always made contact and cause of that is how he got his mental compacity, he was just becoming a serious main eventer and its a shame he murdered his family and himself but it sucks WWE is now anti Beniot as in they refuse to show any form of him!

Here's what I think happened in the Benoit home.
Chris, who we all know had severe brain damage from the thousands upon thousands of blows to the head he suffered in his career, blacked out, and during the blackout, killed his family. When he woke, and realised what he had done, he couldn't live with himself. He took his life to be with his family. None of us can blame him for what he did given his mental state. He was one of my heroes and now my dream of meeting him is gone.
