  • this is simply marvellous!! I've been saving the Halloween in Wonderland pp too, and you've just inspired me!

  • Have you had any problems with the Modge Podge bits where they get "tacky" when it's humid?

  • turn your d ring around.

  • Arlene, Your work is amazing. Love all of your projects. Thanks for sharing.

  • This is wonderful! I just love how you work through the design for us! TFS

  • Did you use Mod Podge on the background papers and tags to......or just the cut outs. I'm going to make a Christmas one this week.

  • I love this... very cute!

  • So cute Arlene!

  • Your mini turned out great! With the painting they don't even look like tp rolls. I love that paper collection. I saw it once when I was in Beverly's, and didn't get it. I'm kicking myself now because they sold out.

I know you scale your photos down to fit areas on minis, but doesn't that mean they are too small to see all the detail? How do you work around that? Or is it just my camera work that makes my photos hard to see that small?

Thanks for sharing this lovely mini ~Dera

  • Awesome!!! You have inspired me to start saving my toilet paper rolls. Your tag is absolutely amazing, going to have to find the video on that. TFS, Cheryl

  • You did an awsome job on this mini!

    Thanks for sharing

  • Arlene this is a cute mini. You put so much detail into it. Amazing use of black embellishments and mists.

  • Love it !

  • Hi Arlene, Great TP Mini Album!! You are awesome! Hugs, Carlene :>

  • Amazing how you can use the tissue rolls into a mini album, I love your idea. It turn out great! Love the paper line too! TFS! : )

  • this is gorgeous and amazing that its make from the tissue rolls!! its an awesome album!! Love that paper line :)

  • I liked it very much Arlene. Question where do you get those huge eyelets and do they work with the crop-a- dile?

  • @AF0093 I got the eyelets a while back from shopwer-dot-com... its WeRMemory Keeper's online website. They are the same makers of the BigBite and Crop-a-dile. The eyelets are made specifically for use with the BB and C-a-D. Hope this helps. :-)

  • Hey Ar! Love your mini! I agree with Aloesaloes on the D-rings! I use mine just as she said. reverse how you have your D-ring now and it will turn so much better. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Leslie

  • @scrapsofmine OMG Leslie, it WORKS!!! hehee! I just commented back to Loes... thank you so, so much! I learn so much from you ladies!!!! hehe!!! Hope you're having a good day Leslie girl! :-) hugs, Ar

  • That was so cute. I watched a video, I'm not sure by who, but she rolled her tissue paper holders thru her Cuttlebug to flatten them. Sounded easy enough, I'm going to have to try to make one soon. I love the way to embellish with all the cutouts. Not sure I have the patience for that, but I'll try. lol

  • i'm in the process of making one for my cousin with pictures of her boys in it

  • Very lovely and fun look mini album.

  • This is an awsome album! I love everthing about it! Thank you for sharing all the great ideas!

Arlene and other ladies... the D-rings work perfectly if you use them the other way around. I mean with the flat side on the out iside and the round side where the pages turn! The album lays even flat on the table when you use them this way.

And you can also tie ribbons and fibers on the flat side

I hope this helps! I like them a lot.

    Loes

  • @Aloesaloes OMG, duh!!! hehee, I just flipped the D-ring the other way like you recommended and it works PERFECTLY! Thanks Loes!! :-) I can't believe I couldn't figure that out! hehe! And to even think for one moment that I thought Tim made a defective project is so BAD of me! LOL!!! Thank you so much!!! See, I learn so much from you ladies too!!! :-) hugs, Ar

  • Your little mini is really cute. As for turning the pages, it may help to turn your D ring around. Instead of have the round part where the ribbon is,, try putting that part through the pages and tie your ribbon to the straight part. I don't know if it would work, but it is a thought.. I have D rings but I haven't used them yet. I plan to use mine on the spine of my book and not for the pages. It may be worth it to try turning it.

    Have a wonderful week!

    Lynn

  • @passionwriter70 Thanks Lynn! :-) I flipped the D-ring around and it works perfectly. It was like a light at the end of the tunnel for me... lol! I really appreciate the tip cuz I was getting so frustrated! LOL!

  • @mybutterflykisses12 LOL You are welcome! I am so glad it worked out! Big Smile!

    Have a good day!

    Lynn

  • Really cute mini!

  • Amazing what a Great Idea TFS

  • Thank you so much Arlene for sharing this AMAZING mini! I love it.

    Smiles, Jeannie

  • wow you are so creative. lovely work.

  • very cute mini thanks for shariing.....

  • Love your Album!! You got your Mojo back :-) tfs

  • Beautiful mini! Wondering where you find those adorable tiny black aluminum roses, and the extra large brads??? I've searched everywhere and cannot find either! Love that you recycle! Yay you! Thanks for sharing and inspiring! : )

  • @ScrapBliss Thanks so much! The aluminum roses are from Etsy. The seller's name is Cantebury Lane. The XL eyelets are from shopwer-dot-com. :-)

  • I love the mini accordion book!!! This is such a cool mini. I have some paper rolls saved but never did anything with them. This is such a great idea as I just got the G45 Halloween paper stack recently. A great way to get the paper rolls super flat---if you have a Big Shot---is to run the paper rolls through the machine a couple of time using the multipurpose platform and the two plastic plates. Thanks for the video!! Super super cool!

  • @rockriver9 Thanks for the BigShot tip! :-)

  • Very cute mini Ar! I'm not a fan of the "D" rings either, like you said they work on some projects, tfs

    ~Kay

  • This is so cute great job

  • cute \m/

  • oh this is soo cute!!

    LOVE the tag too.:)

  • Super cute as always Arllene! I love this paper collection! Believe it, or not, but I am 47 y.o. and still haven't seen Alice in Wonderland completly through! Sad isn't

it:( haha! Please tell Bona I am missing her:"( and I hope things are going better for her. TFS! Cheryl

  • @cher1292 Thanks Cheryl, I'll pass on the love to Bona. :-)

  • Your album is beautiful. Love the papers, they just shine! I love your tags too, very nice ideas. Thanks for the inspiration~Brigitte

  • I ADORE the mini...buttt there is something not right with the D RING..you are sooo right ...maybe some other binding will work. But the album ROCKS !!

    CATS-PURRRFECT =)

  • Love the album. Thanks for taking the time to share.

  • Nice album... Arlene.. I think you need to turn your D ring the opposite way.. with the flat end on the outside with the round end on the inside to make for easier turning..

  • Hi Arlene! It's so nice to see you! I have a stack of TP rolls that I have not used yet...my hubbie had the strangest look on his face when he saw them in my studio closet! Anyway, your mini is precious! I love how you put all othe papers together. It is so very vintage and distressed! I can never seem to make those D rings work either....I have them in a drawer somewhere! Thank you so much..you gave me my Monday morning inspiration! Love it!
