this scene is one of the best of the two. they finally got the chance to talk about their relationship and what it it will be. just like what every relationship should be. Trust honesty and acceptance of each other as they are. The two are just too good for each other. they are perfect. soooooo sweeet! love them both!
Kyle to Oliver "It's not his fault, he's not you." I was smiling so much when watching this episode originally. The last scenes at the BGW and then the rooftop scenes were everything that I had waited for when Kish began. The hug, the kiss, ugh, still makes me fall more in love with Kish (even after Kishkill). Kish is the best supercouple I've watching in years.

Sorry off topic, but I need an answer. Scott Evans has been on the show since 2008, right? Is he not contracted, because he's not in the opening credits, but Brett is. It would be nice to see his adorable face : )
It's funny because if you look at the ep counts per month, Scott's on more than Brett.
In regards to airtime, it may be more beneficial for SE to remain recurring because they can use him in more eps per week. With other contract players, such as BC, their screentime's being kept strictly to whatever their contracts dictate in order to prevent paying for extra episode appearances. So, while BC might have a contract and some degree of job security, SE can be used more by the show each week.
So, I just stayed up all night and got completely caught up on these videos... Taking a few breaks but they were short lol. I'm addicted now, and I don't want to be caught up :(
Nick knew that Kyle wasn't over Oliver. Amelia admited that Nick confided that to her. He knew when Oliver got his medal and he knew when he asked Kyle to marry him. He manipulated Kyle into saying yes to a proposal that happened way too soon. So I don't feel that sorry for him and he needs to stop feeling sorry for himself. Maybe next time he'll ask the person he truly loves - not just to make a political statement.

The reason Nick kept asking Kyle if he was over Oliver is because he knew he wasn't. He wanted to manipulate the situation. He knew Kyle wanted to move on but was not anywhere close to being ready to do that. We, most of us, can sense when things are not exactly right. The question is do we listen to what our inner voice is telling us? I don't care how many times Kyle denied his feelings, Nick knew.

Nick put this ball in motion when he asked Kyle to marry him in the restaurant. One would be hard pressed to say no to a proposal done in such a public way. So the way I see it, Nick should never have asked the question the way he did. They had never even said I love you to each other. I think Nick seems too willing to rush into a relationship. Maybe there's a back story we don't know. Maybe he's trying to forget someone himself.

They hide behind their religious beliefs or perceived morality. That is why this should never be allowed to be put into the hands of the people. That is the ultimate mixing of chuch and state. Equal rights should be decided by the government and not up for debate or repeal.
Christian and Oliver are the most realistic gay couple on TV. It's the little things-the looks, the hugs, the kidding around- you really get the sense they are a real couple. I hope OLTL takes the ball and runs with it. I'm not sure they will-this is American daytime. We are not as progressive as the Germans.
Its actually very funny how you call Christian and Oliver the most realistic couple on TV. When in fact both are bisexual by definition. But I have to agree, sexual expression is viewed different in Europe and the US. If you would check out the UK, French, Spanish, Dutch, etc. soaps that have gay/bisexual characters, you would see the same thing in all of them as with this particular story. The US uses double standards when it comes to freedom of expression VS expression of sexuality.
Well, if youve watched that many European soaps youve seen that we dont think in the hetero-homo/straight-gay dichotomy. We know that there are many bisexuals, whom can also be very different from each other. Some of them like one gender more than the other, some like both equally. Just because they live in a monogamous relationship for now, does not change the fact that they are not frozen in the hetero-homo world.
By your definition we are almost all bisexual. We grow up in small towns all over this country. We had to date women. Most of the gay men I know have been with a woman. Myself included. Many have even been married to women. Half my friends have children from failed marriges. Christian and Olli are together, so until something changes they are a Gay couple.

But most bisexuals dont identify as bisexuals, and I believe this is neither healthy nor fair(to the other person).

The thought of finding a certain gender repulsive, sexually speaking is indeed a natural and most normal reaction in some people of a certain sexual orientation. Not understanding why others might find that same gender attractive, is the problem. As that lack of understanding comes from the fact that some are not capable to differentiate between themselves and others. They expect others to function in the same way as they do. Until this happens everything is OK.
For example, thinking of naked women, or seeing one, is the fastest way on the road to impotency for me. Imagining one kissing me, makes my stomach churn. I don't think the problem is people saying bad things about Kyle but good things about Nick. They were both responsible for that mess in Angel park. They should not have been getting married and they both knew that. Kyle thought Nick could make him forget about Oliver while Nick used the situation for political gain. I see you've taken a shine to our German boys! I totally get your point with Luke and Noah, but i think we see it in a different way. Those characters are about exactly my age and I can really feel a lot about the wanting to be loved feeling from Luke and the denial from Noah. Mixed together with the chemistry that I get from them, they respresent a lot.
Yes zoisites, when I first found out about Christian and Oliver I spent hours and hours catching up on their story and I think I fell in love with both of them or at least what they represent. In my heart there will never be another Chrolli, but I have heard that there is a chance that Christian will leave Oliver for Rebecca and the day that happens will be the day that their whole love story will be tainted for me and I will stop watching forever...

i adore nick, but he i couldn't take in some things he said to kyle that was controlling. ex: bringing champagne to celebrate kyle's readmittance to med school and saying"uh, thank you" when kyle simply wondered what was up.

It's funny because if you look at the ep counts per month, Scott's on more than Brett.
In regards to airtime, it may be more beneficial for SE to remain recurring because they can use him in more eps per week. With other contract players, such as BC, their screentime's being kept strictly to whatever their contracts dictate in order to prevent paying for extra episode appearances. So, while BC might have a contract and some degree of job security, SE can be used more by the show each week.

Nick knew that Kyle wasn't over Oliver. Amelia admited that Nick confided that to her. He knew when Oliver got his medal and he knew when he asked Kyle to marry him. He manipulated Kyle into saying yes to a proposal that happened way too soon. So I don't feel that sorry for him and he needs to stop feeling sorry for himself. Maybe next time he'll ask the person he truly loves - not just to make a political statement.

The reason Nick kept asking Kyle if he was over Oliver is because he knew he wasn't. He wanted to manipulate the situation. He knew Kyle wanted to move on but was not anywhere close to being ready to do that. We, most of us, can sense when things are not exactly right. The question is do we listen to what our inner voice is telling us? I don't care how many times Kyle denied his feelings, Nick knew.

Nick put this ball in motion when he asked Kyle to marry him in the restaurant. One would be hard pressed to say no to a proposal done in such a public way. So the way I see it, Nick should never have asked the question the way he did. They had never even said I love you to each other. I think Nick seems too willing to rush into a relationship. Maybe there's a back story we don't know. Maybe he's trying to forget someone himself.

Christian and Oliver are the most realistic gay couple on TV. It's the little things-the looks, the hugs, the kidding around- you really get the sense they are a real couple. I hope OLTL takes the ball and runs with it. I'm not sure they will-this is American daytime. We are not as progressive as the Germans.

Its actually very funny how you call Christian and Oliver the most realistic couple on TV. When in fact both are bisexual by definition. But I have to agree, sexual expression is viewed different in Europe and the US. If you would check out the UK, French, Spanish, Dutch, etc. soaps that have gay/bisexual characters, you would see the same thing in all of them as with this particular story. The US uses double standards when it comes to freedom of expression VS expression of sexuality.

Well, if youve watched that many European soaps youve seen that we dont think in the hetero-homo/straight-gay dichotomy. We know that there are many bisexuals, whom can also be very different from each other. Some of them like one gender more than the other, some like both equally. Just because they live in a monogamous relationship for now, does not change the fact that they are not frozen in the hetero-homo world.

By your definition we are almost all bisexual. We grow up in small towns all over this country. We had to date women. Most of the gay men I know have been with a woman. Myself included. Many have even been married to women. Half my friends have children from failed marriges. Christian and Olli are together, so until something changes they are a Gay couple.

There are people whom have never been with the gender that they are not attracted to, and never wanted to be. They are homosexual and heterosexual, and they identify as gay and straight. Most bisexuals, although bisexual, identify as either gay or straight. And in my best knowledge, both Oliver and Christian identify as bisexual.

No, we are not almost all bisexual. The gay people I know never had sex with women, and most importantly they dint want to have sex with women. Both Christian and Oliver wanted to have sex with women, and theyve enjoyed it. And as such they are bisexual. But I have to say that indeed the majority seems to be bisexual according to Kinsey and others. But most bisexuals dont identify as bisexuals, and I believe this is neither healthy nor fair(to the other person).

For now. Monogamy does not change sexual orientation. And no, they are neither homosexual nor gay, but technically they are in a homosexual relationship(in a relationship with a person of the same gender), although they are bisexual. But this issue is an issue of semantics.

The thought of finding a certain gender repulsive, sexually speaking is indeed a natural and most normal reaction in some people of a certain sexual orientation. Not understanding why others might find that same gender attractive, is the problem. As that lack of understanding comes from the fact that some are not capable to differentiate between themselves and others. They expect others to function in the same way as they do. Until this happens everything is OK.

But that does not mean I dont understand how can others like it. The problem with homophobes is that they cant imagine a man being not-attracted to women. In my opinion Kish has the potential to be the only realistic gay couple on american tv, but it seems as though OLTL is already taking the easy way out by taking all of the passion out of this beautiful renewed relationship. In real life you would not be able to pry these two apart. I am not sure if OLTL is worried that sheltered americans are not ready to see two boys expressing real love or if Brett doesn't want to make out with Scott any more than is necessary, but they need to fix it fast.

You must be on drugs. NICK was using KYLE to get gay marriage approved, and for media and everything. There was really no TRUE love there, and anybody with eyes can see that. Oliver had been put into a closeted environment by his parents strict atmosphere, and society, and Kyle is nowhere near whiney. Did u expect Oliver to come out shinning rainbow flags or something. He had a closeted time, then he realized his true self and accepted it. Nothing or no one is perfect.

Actually you are wrong. Nick and Kyle would have been only one of the couples among the many. So Nick using him for the gay marriage issue is overrated. The difference between them was and is that Nick is OK with being whom he is, although he lives in the same society as Oliver does. The other difference is that Nick actually likes Kyle(for whatever reason), but Kyle just used Nick to be able to deny his feelings for Oliver. His incentive with the soon to be "supposedly" mayors wife, seemed to always come 1st. And his "supposed" love for Kyle always came last. Well Ive never said that Nick was in love. I have no idea if he was. But he was definitely attracted to him, and he seemed to be committed. I have to agree on the definition of love being true only when it is returned. Nick is also a gay person, not only a homosexual. There is a basic difference between the two. Nick is part of a community, the LGBT community, and as such he tries to do everything in his power to improve the life of every other LGBT person.

They should not have been getting married and they both knew that. Kyle thought Nick could make him forget about Oliver while Nick used the situation for political gain.
