Actually, the Pharisees were inwardly hypocrites, but outwardly appeared righteous by giving large gifts, fasting openly, and doing large prayers---they didn't preach open air---and you would have to know these men's hearts to truly judge that without proof of their fruit. Preachers are called to go out and do this... and even IF you think they are Pharasaical... Jesus said to obey what the Pharisees taught, but don't do what they do. So either way--you should listen and obey.

You misunderstand Galatians--see how Paul mentions circumcision in verses, and then again later says those who continue in sin(idolators, murders, sexual parties) won't inherit the Kingdom... there is a difference between the natural law written on your heart and Mosaic law in letter.

Go read the book of 1 John, it says true Christians will keep the commandments--or they're liars--black and white as it gets.

The law is good, for it brings people to understanding of their sin.

No... you're misunderstanding completely, there are two different laws. Galatians is referring to Judaizers who were following Paul around and trying to convert Gentiles the Mosaic law... I'm not some amazing historian, but you display ignorance on the history of this letter and it's purpose. No... read the book of 1 John, He said that we FULFILL the law by obeying the law of love--just as Jesus did. Paul was claiming, no one is good because no one is---we've all broken the commandments, but have been forgiven and freed in Christ. I don't continue in sin.

Not to mention, you're reading your beliefs into "it is finished" rather that exegetically seeing what Scripture teaches. The sins you have not yet committed are not auto-forgiven, your past sins are forgiven---THIS is the righteousness of Christ, for He was also sinless. You stand before God sinless only because His blood covers you, but if you turn away from the faith and continue in sin---you won't be saved in the end.
