  • Catcher's upset? Well you're an idiot. You don't go behind the baseline to catch the baseball.

  • just to point out, the left fielder made a wide throw, that is why the catcher went out of his way to get the ball.

  • @snakeyes150 he's still standing in the baseline

  • Crap the catcher has no right to block the base path what does the runner have to do, get a bus pass and take transit around him? Runner gets to go home, it's called baseball. Catcher either has the ball and tags him or takes his chances.

  • Obstruction. Simple as that.

  • @Disembow1280 yea its is

  • its a good thing baseball players can deal with a little bit of roughness...oh wait....

  • dumb ass catcher

  • I hate to say it but Baseball and all sports are turning into bitch sports. So many rules now not to get "hurt" the catcher has gear knock him the fuck out.

  • @bobbym315 i agree...no more good ol' hardball without someone being a bitch...Ray Fosse didnt bitch around after Pete Rose clocked him in what is an exhibition game

  • this type of play happened to me but i was thrown out of the game for it. I plowed the catcher cause he didnt have tthe ball yet he was in the basepath. anyone wana explain why i was thrown out?

  • @gnarlyjp ummm...stupid umps?

  • Runner is safe. You don't block the plate 4 feet in front without the ball.

  • your title is misleading. "benches empty" usually implies there's a confrontation. and no one was "destroyed". easy on the red bulls.

but the runner has a right to the base path and he was trying to avoid the catcher. they call it "blocking the plate" because it's a deliberate attempt to physically take the base path away. you are thereby initiating the contact.

  • what a bad thing to do...thats why many peoples are dieyng every day... first it all happens in a JOKE or bullied.... then next is.... killing

  • @johnericsantiago28 what are you suppose to do? the catcher was going for the ball and if the runner wouldnt have ran him oer he probably would have been out.

  • Funny that the catcher complains... you can see him intentionally step into the path of the runner. He got what he deserved.

  • That's the catchers fault.I'm a catcher too and the catcher got in the way,he didnt have the ball so he shouldn't have gotten in the middle of the baseline.I woulda dine the same thing and ran him over,I've done it before

  • that is a sexy field..

  • @CapnSlapaho20 youre saying youre a slob basically?

  • @CapnSlapaho20 heres the problem with your argument, the catcher is not in the baseline and he actually gave the runner plenty of room to get by.. like i said catcher cant be touching the white line or else whatever he does is fine, he wasnt even in the dirt tho so its not even a close call, enjoy your top comment they mean nothing

  • @CapnSlapaho20 nope youre wrong, the catcher just cant be touching that white line when he tries to get by you and he clearley wasnt.. if there were replays in baseball it would have got turned over

  • @MalikarVampire He was leading the runner to believe he had the ball - which most umpires frown upon to begin with. The catcher cannot obstruct the plate/line without the ball. Had the ball been on it's way to him he could've stood there and still had been railroaded. Since it wasn't the runner has every right to roll through him

  • Thats proley 1 of the worst postion ive seen from a catcher i play as a catcher myslef his like wot 5 feet from the home plate and on the baseline without the ball the runner got every right to run through him if his there

  • GET OUT OF THE FRICKIN WAY YOU MORON, JUST MAYBE THE RUNNER WOULDN'T HAVE RUN INTO YOU DUMBASS, LMFAO!!

The next time you need a taxi just hop in front, I'm pretty sure you'll achieve the same result, it's not Rocket-science or some complexity of physics, IT'S COMMON SENSE!!!!!

  • **HEADSHOT**

  • lol, the title made me laugh

  • What about that 13 !tch

  • hey im getting to enjoy baseball and football all at once!

  • It's funny how the announcer said that the catcher was upset that he got runover when he didn't have the ball....here's a small bit of information for you catch.... IT'S ILLEGAL TO BLOCK THE PATH OF THE BASERUNNER WITHOUT POSSESSION OF THE BALL.So the runner would have been awarded home anyways for obstruction.

  • @JASONHALE5 i was just about to say that

  • If the train's comin' better get off the track if you ain't got the ball.

  • how was that safe!

  • @suzyjurist The catcher didnt have the ball...

  • ClothesLined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • don't have the ball = get the fuck out the way

  • Looks like somebody needs to learn how to take a hit without being a little bitch.

  • Happy Gilmore: "he shouldntv been standing there"

  • That catcher is an idiot! He tried to bluff the runner but failed lol.

  • @CapnSlapaho20 You have to expect that if your the defender. Perfectly clean play on the part of the runner!

  • @crosscatch Thats what i'm saying. The catcher should have been expecting that if he was in the base path. The Runner did nothing wrong.

  • @xXSaintsXxGaming my bad i thought he had the ball

  • Benches empty...lol

  • @xXSaintsXxGaming well if the catcher has the ball or the ball is coming he can stand wherever the hell he wants, the runner can't just lower his shoulder and blow him up, he has to slide or try to avoid contact. I've seen someone get thrown out of a game that way.

  • you guys are morons...thats why you not an umpire

  • thumbs up if you expected to see a fight

  • What do you mean he didnt have the ball in his hand he held it up after he got run over?

  • i like how the announsers say things we already know lol

  • anybody who honestly believes the runner should be called out and or thrown out of the game clearly has no knowledge of the game of baseball...what the hell is the catcher doing halfway up the line without a ball blocking the runners path??? you have no time to see where the throws coming from you drop your shoulder and take his ass out, and ill gaurentee that catcher wont be making that mistake again

  • Block the plate without the ball, get run over.See Ray Fosse

  • the runner should be called out and thrown out of the game.

  • as long as he didnt have the baseball while in the basepath the runner could do anything

  • Props to the runner. He did the right thing by putting the catcher on his ass. The catcher is actually mad that he stood right in front of the kid thinking that he wouldn't get run over. Lol, get fucked!

  • I thought "Benches Empty" was like the term they use in baseball when the benches empty and players get ejected, punches get thrown, and what not.

I didn't think it was "Benches Empty" as in five players congratulate the guy for scoring and the opposing coach comes out to argue the call.

  • The dumbass leaned into it lol. Stay out of the way of the train if you cant handle it baha

  • The catcher is in the baseline it didn't matter if he had the ball or not he's in your running path to home plate.... As long as you don't lower your shoulder and try to truck him you won't get called for malicious contact....

  • That is running over the catcher....really??

  • who gives a crap if he didn't have the baseball, if a catcher was just standing in my way i'd lay him out too.

  • *yawn*

  • I did this last year and the ball was coming and the catcher was in the base line path anyway so I ran into him full speed even though he didn't have the ball. 1.(I did that in case he caught the ball) 2.(He was in my way so the Umpire called me safe because of the interference, not on me). The catcher was the biggest guy on the team so the Impact was wicked!

  • lol seriously your all mad because YOU were in the baseline, and YOU didn't have the ball? The point I'm making here is that ITS YOUR FAULT.

  • I love how this catcher is so unimportant the announcer just calls him catcher!

  • no shit you're gonna get hit you were in his way he's not gonna stop and let you catch the ball

  • lmfao you cant be pissed that u got hit without the ball. Get the fuck off the baseline, that's the runners rout, not the runners fault. Also, if you dont wanna get fuckin trucked, allow the runner a sliding window...

  • Get the hell out of the way!

  • yeah the cather cant be their without the ball dumbass

  • "Runner Destroys Catcher at Home"

Uhh no, he tries to go around the dumbass catcher that's standing 15 feet up the baseline without the ball, does his best to avoid the moving target and barely makes contact with him.

  • WTF was the catcher doing 10 feet up the baseline? Poor catching......Man, I would have plowed him over, touched home, and then ran back to pull a Mayhem Miller on him and dance on his mask.

  • he was like twenty feet up the baseline and the other guy barely touched him, what a Va JJ!

  • poor catcher ahaha

  • the Catcher is wrong he got to be outside the base path until he has the ball im so glad he got ran over

  • Like a boss.

  • He was in the baseline! Safe!!!!

  • Press 1 to hear one.

  • hey catcher, get off the fuckin line if you dont have the ball or be prepared to take the hit.

  • catchers in the baseline and i was thrown out of a game for this same reason the catcher didnt have the ball and he was in the baseline and i plowed right through him whatever though we still won and it buffed out

  • @cutter2766 you obviously don't understand baseball....

  • if the catcher didnt have the ball then the guy has every right to plow him for being in the way. you are not allowed to block home without the ball

  • @jeiskina it doesn't matter....

  • @dummybummyful yes it does jackass, whats the runner supposed to do run around him? no you are supposed to bulldog him. unless youre in high school or little league. but from college to the major leagues you run him over. i play in college i think i would know

  • What is wrong with that field? It looks like monkeys prepped it before the game.

  • If I were the catcher I would have got the bat and klled him

  • that not benches empty

  • If its not the majors, if a catcher is run over the batter is out regardless if he drops the ball

  • @bloodrein54 not true...maybe in your league but not most idiothead

  • the catcher has gotta get out the way if he doesn't have the ball. he deserved it

  • Thats a nice field

  • @MWhee1er

    so random

  • I don't understand the catcher's argument here, he was blocking the lane so the runner did what he had to do. Nothing dirty here, just a kid making sure he gets the run.

  • i got ran over at age 8 had the ball when the kid was half way from home to third was waiting to tag him and he ran me completely over but i held on to the ball so he was out. then he started crying cuz he got thrown out of the game

  • catcher shouldnt be in the baseline if he doesnt have the ball.. if i was the runner id do the same thing.

  • catchers all upset for getting run-over!

  • i have done it before its fun :)

  • WTF the catcher is a dumb fucking ass he's in the god damm baseline.... wat the runner runs around him? THATS NOT ALLOWED

  • that's what ur suppose to do as a runner because you cant run around or slide because he's to far off the plate

  • i'd kick his ass

  • or maybe not.. the camera quality isn't that good.. and camera is pretty far away soo.. yeah hard to tell ill go with the umpire on it i guess

  • umm what league is this? im assuming u can't get thrown out for knocking down the catcher here? becuz yes it is obstruction on the catcher for being in the way w/o the ball the the player closed lined the catcher.. o_O he didn't just make contact with him he practically punched him in the face on purpose i see molacious contact here.. and reason for ejection unless this wasn't one of those leagues lol

  • Out! But he was in the runners path when he didn't have possesion of the ball, SAFE

  • @deadlybuttparasite don't you realize that you are supposed to stand in the way of the runner

  • @73zachman Maybe you don't realize that it's actually illegal to be blocking the plate when you don't have the ball.

  • catcher blocking home way out there with no ball?? whatd u expect?

  • Press 1 for "one"

  • get the fuck out of the way then haha

  • he shouldnt get pissed for being run over if he didnt have the ball he was in the base path

  • what a fail, the guy even tried to avoid him but catcher retard ran in his way again

  • benches didnt really clear???

  • If you don't want get hit, don't block the plate - Pete Rose

  • hell yes i was a catcher in highschool and i love seeing them get run over like this. and i love the umpires in baseball... they get it right 99.9% of the time and this is a perfect example.

  • Runner didnt drop shoulder so clean play.

  • GOD!!!! He got mowed

  • One of the first rules for a catcher is to keep his mask on when there is a play at the plate for reasons like this.

  • The runner can do that the catcher was in the way with out the ball so he has to move or the runner can do that!

  • he got JACKED UP!

  • Runners have the right to the baseline. If the catcher wants to get in their way, deal with the consequences. Don't cry like a baby.

  • that runner is such a champion... fucking elbowed his ass right in the face

  • @blird71 he didn't have the ball so he souldn't have been in the way

  • @hissingfetus exactly... you can stand close but you have to stand off to the side and give the runner room.

  • legal collision here

  • the runner has the right to the base path even if the catcher did not have the ball that is the rule and that is all i have to say about that !!

  • That suked

  • That suked

  • I wouldve ran him over too if he was in my way

  • eh.. if you don't have the ball.. move

  • @effinyzarc the ball was going to land where he was waiting for it if he moved he wouldn't have been able to catch it.

  • well catcher blocks the plate and gets trucked classic case of being in the right place in the wrong time

  • That infield is uglyyyyy

  • catching 101.....stay the fuck out of the base line you idiot

  • Haha i did that once... in my championship game... but tha catcher didnt have his helmet and he started crying and i got ejected... lol

  • If you are in runners path and even partially blocking the base path..its fair game. Period.

  • Dont stand on the tracks when the trains coming through

  • If I was the ump, I would call a runner interference. That catcher had absolutely no reason to stand in the runner's path. No wonder he got run over.

  • hahaha being a catcher i got to laugh hes def not smart if he thinks that would have got him sympathy he didnt have the ball u stand in the wy u get plowed over lmao

  • That's a clean play. The runner has right of way, unless he actually impedes a defensive player from catching a batted ball. Once it has been touched by another fielder, the runner has no responsilibity to avoid the ball or the fielder if he stays in the basepaths. That catcher is just pissed because he got hit, and I've seen worse at that.

  • @deadlybuttparasite you have horrible spelling friend.. LOL

  • don't stand on the track when the trains coming..

  • HAHA

  • If you dont want to get run over...make sure you are in a secure position to get hit.

  • To those ov u saying the catcher dropped the ballll he never even had the ball

  • i guess i just cant see where he dropped the ball, i thought that was why he was upset that the batter wasn't called out

  • ok the catcher cant get mad about getting run over in the middle of the base path if he doesnt even have the ball!! he shouldnt be standing there until he has the ball!!

  • out!

  • you know, being a catcher and all, i know that if you get barreled at the plate. usually the runner falls too. not just lose a step. he clotheslined the catcher.

  • over rated -__- he bearely creamed his head off//...lmfao!

  • catchers in the baseline, runner has the right away

  • interferance on catcher because runner is running and catcher was in the baserunners way

  • @TheMets84 You mean obstruction, of course. And it wasn't, because he scored

  • the runner is an asshole, he stuck out his arm on purpose 0:16 youll see it was the runners fault

  • @ww2guy21342 catcher was in line of runners base path and with no ball in glove so no im sorry catchers fault

  • believe the rule states if you are on the basepath your fair game.............. dont want to get face planted................ STAY OFF THE BASELINE!!

  • Sorry catch, get the hell out of the way if you don't have the ball - this isn't football where the umps call PASS INTERFERENCE

  • And that is why i play the Outfield

  • Question: Would that have been a run (on defensive interference) if the runner never got to touch home plate?

  • @AEMoreira81 nope

  • if the catcher doesnt have the ball he needs to get off the base path or this will happned everytime

  • i love standing in the basepath and right when the runners about to hit me i just move out the way and tag them, then they fall flat on there face... the look of embarrassment is priceless lol

  • @FartPoper11 i love doing that

  • The catcher was in the baseline the runner can't just stop and wait for the catcher to catch the ball

  • he was out

  • if your in the baseline you better be ready if you have the ball or not

  • Was it me or did it look like the baseline s had been highlighted lol

  • hahaha that guy just took an elbow to the face!

  • its some little league game. who gives a fuck

  • he needs to get out of the base path. the catcher shouldnt be crying about it.

  • Catcher is a pussy. Go play chess bitch! Nobody will destroy you there! You stand in the way, get ready to get decked!

  • Ow that looks like it hurt

  • the catcher should stand on the top left hand corner of the plate and wait for the ball to come...as the ball comes slide foot backwords for him to slide into your foot slowing him down....drop down and tag....usually when the hit ur foot, if done right they will be unable to touch home before the tag

  • {sigh} whatever happened to the days when playin' sports was fun. U could knock the hell out of your best friend on the court/or field, and when he regained consciousness he'd get up,slap ya' on the butt & tell ya', "DAMN GOOD HIT!!!"

  • @bbwluvn This made me cry laughing :D

  • That guy didn't even lay him out to well. In fact, he looked like he tried to get out of the way a little...If I was him I would have stepped into that with a full charge knowing damn well I was going to give him a hell of a hit. That runner has the right of way to knock that fucker on his ass for blocking the runner's path...Can block the plate, can't block the path...I always loved these moments, waiting for a catcher to fuck up like this and give him a hurtin he won't forget

  • the catcher was so far down the line with out the ball in the middle of the base path of course your going to be ran over. catcher = pussy

  • fix the title. benches dont empty retard

  • @yankeefan821 Growden Park's dugouts use benches. They are the original benches from Sick's Stadium in Seattle. Elvis Presley wore nightgowns; therefore, your argument is invalid.

  • @PannerVision the benches don't "EMPTY" though, fix the title, morgan freeman is eating cotton candy, your argument is invalid

  • @PannerVision therefore, you're a fagget!

  • @PannerVision i know yankeefan!!! he was that dick on xbox live!!!! :D

  • @yankeefan821

he's talking about the dugout benches,
