@JustOneAbesto Natalie quit the show as he had other projects in other cities. He stated he couldn't travel to NYC all the time for show's tapings. That's why Wolfgang Puck quit the show after shooting the pilot shows before it picked up for complete season 1 airing. Morimoto replaced Puck after pilot shows.

I actually miss Mario Batali on Iron Chef. He was one of my favorite ones. I hate the new Iron Chef, Jose Garcas. He's a cretin and a bonehead. Bring Mario back. He's a much better chef. Garcas just needs to get lost and jump into a volcano.

@edld46 Batali and the Food Network had some, uh, artistic differences and went their separate ways. Too bad, he was a favorite of mine.

Instead of a succession of Reality Show winners, they really needed to replace Batali with someone of a similar stature (at least from a perspective of being well known). Emeril isn't good enough under pressure. Puck already walked on the show once before. Ripert probably wouldn't WANT to do it. So I don't know who. But someone. Maybe Keller or Bayless could be tempted. Probably not.
