  • The tracer material is actually in the back of the bullet, in a cup, or hole in the base of the bullet. I have heard that it is the tracer material and not the bullet we see ricocheting in the air. But after watching so many, this doesn't seem right. The ricochet maintains speed for such a distance, I don't see how the little tracer material would have the inertia to do that. It must be the hole bullet.

  • @GunsmokeNC i've recovered ricochets and it's the entire bullet still intact

  • alot of the time with tracers when you see the tracer fly in the air its not the bullet richoceting its the tip of the bullet which has the tracing material on it just fragmenting

  • what happened with the 3rd "shot"? at 2:04, theres a light and then nothing then the report. no ballistic crack

  • @joshdrobny That shot hit the ground not too far from me. You can see the bullet bounce up a little and then back down. There was no "crack" because the bullet did not pass the camera. The scope had regular cross hair reticle that is hard to see in the dark. So my aim was not very good.

  • @GunsmokeNC thats what i thought happened, i was thinking about doing this with my 308 but thats the only reason i didnt. worried about hitting my camera lol

  • this video is so sick please please please make that one in hd!!

  • 2:00 the shooting starts.

  • love the ballistic crack

  • Damn! I was looking for a video with sonicracks that can be heared for a long time!

  • Cool video, that was interesting seeing it from that point of view. :-))

  • Jesus that's intimidating as hell!

  • nice video, r those NATO rounds in the 5.56, thats the same as a .223 right?now i know what the taliban face daily, picture a little taliban cunt trying to dodge them...haah

  • @88weedsmoker They were American Eagle .556. They have the NATO cross on the case head stamp.

  • that would be scary as fuck to see that on a battlefield. and that sound, christ.

  • That sounded like a nasty Ford

  • finnaly someone shot tracers at the camera i have been wanting to see what it looks like

  • i love your accent :D

  • There goes some shooting stars

  • good work man ive been looking for this shit for ages

  • awesom

  • ufo at 2:47

  • That ricochet at 2:20 was craazzyy. xD

  • 1:56 for the shooting.

  • NIceeeeeeeeee that was bad ass.

  • Wow thats cool! The cracking noise is the "bang" catching up to the camera after the bullet flies by and supersonic speed!

  • i would have been scared out of my mind cuz its dark as fuck

  • @giorodriguez1265 But I had a gun! :o)

  • @GunsmokeNC lol you hear the crack of the bullet and count as fast as you can until you hear the report of the rifle you can guestimate how far the shooter is i got to five so about five hundred yards. A guy in the marines taught me that i guess he was right lol.

  • They were not sub-sonic. That is the crack you hear. Even before the muzzle blast is heard.

  • If the rounds were subsonic, what was making that terrific crack?

  • Cool man, looking forward to any new videos you post!! :D

  • I would love to be the camera man!

  • Hell yeah dude, Ive watched this video like 20 times already and it keeps getting better. I hope more people start making more videos like these. If you do this again, put the camera closer to 1000 yards next time, and shoot more slowly to capture the full sound of each shot. Just an idea! LOVE THE VIDEO!!!!

  • @flightoftheunknown I just got a new HD camera. And about 200 tracer rounds. I do plan on making another video like this one, only in HD and as far away as I can get from the camera. I might use my 90 round drum mag. I am looking forward to doing it!

  • AWSOME!!!!

  • impressiv video

  • nice video, give us more

  • i love when tracers ricochet!

  • Wow..now I know how terrifying it is to be shot.

  • Great vid! Cool to hear the both the loud snap from the bullet and the bang from the powder!

  • @lHustonProductionsl I was about 400-500 yards from the camera. Shooting at the angle most people would be shooting at any target or animal. Almost every tracer went into the air after hitting the dirt.

  • well thats a first...cool

  • would be really cool to see the original video.

  • bad ass video good job

  • FU AROCK

    FBO

  • That was awesome. Good job! get more!

  • Cooter!! That you???!!!! Kidding. I like the video!!

  • FUAROCK!

    FUXDBACKUPGUN!!

  • Cool video. I've shot plenty of tracers, but I've never seen them from the receiving end!

  • @jjjxlr8 - The original video looked much better than the You Tube video. There are too many frames drooped in the you tube video. The tracers look more like a flash some times. In The original, you can see them racing toward the camera, and hauling butt past the camera, lighting up the ground as they go by!
