Medvedev congratulates security services on professional holiday

The war on terror and the fight against extremism are priority tasks for Russian security services, Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday.

He was speaking at a meeting dedicated to the Russian Security Services' professional holiday, which is marked on December 20.

"Not giving terrorists a single chance is the main task of security service officers", he said.

Likely there would have been no revolution had Turkey (The Bosporus geography) not been pushed to ally with Germany in 1914 becuase of stupid moves by Britain. With the Ukraine shut off -- Russia was starved into revolution. Had the Czar survived - Russia - Germany and Britain would have more quickly come to where they are now. @me3tv I'd agree but lets not "poo poo" National Socialist Germany because there was another European Civil war (WWII) and a CLAIM that 6 million were killed in 3 years in gas chambers without leaving a single physical trace (!). Pre-war Germany was doing VERY well - had Hitler retired before trying to return Danzig to Germany (and starting WWII - the other "invasions" pre-WWII were also Germany reclaiming her land), Hitler would have been remembered as one of the greatest leaders ever.
