its a tough life...boy do i know. im dealing with a 19 month old "into everything" son, and a 6 year old autistic daughter who also has ADHD...by my self. i would love to just sleep for a full 8 hours....at least once a week.
oooh girl do i feel u!! i wish my husband would hurry up and get home so i can hand over my ninth month old daughter to him and i can say see ya later!!! good luck girly and god bless
You are so strong! God bless you! My husband only deploys for 3 months and I have no kids and i'm losing it. . .flippin out on my immediate family over the holidays. They just don't get it.
Sorry, please disregard the last statement. I am going through our 3rd deployment and had a few seconds of bitterness. I know that we military wives need to stic together and be supportive of each other. So my bad, trust me I do know how you felt, I have been there and am there again. I'm biting my tongue now.
im a military wife, stationed in germany. i just married my husband dec.15,2007. before we were married though, he was stationed here, then deployed to iraq, so i only saw him 15 days in 2 years before we married. i have no children yet, but i can only imagine what youre feeling because i have witnessed many mothers around me. i just came over here in feb, and my husband is hardly ever here. im childless, but you know what drives me crazy?... the silence! just remember how blessed you are.
I had a huge laugh at the end; keep up the strength, girl! My husband is leaving soon for the 2nd time, thank goodness our kids are 13, 13, and 15 now! I hope it's all over with for you, God Bless you and your family!!
my husband has been in iraw 11 months we had out 1st baby in june, im going through the same exact thing i know how you feel..its hard...a month after we got married he deployed..hang in there!!!!
This is why the war needs too end! I am so proud and admire all that you do Christy! You are a very strong women and I know it may seem hard but the reward will be never ending love! Just think that sleep is bad because it means taking your eyes off of the most precious thing! Take care!
I feel for you. My son was born about 8 months ago and we are still getting up at least twice a night for him to get bottles and change him. His is the youngest of 4 and by the end of the week, my wife and I are exhausted! I can't imagine how tired we would be if we didn't have each other and our parents as a support network!
Try to get a family member to babysit for you -even if it's just a couple of hours so you can get the rest you deserve and recharge your batteries!
Thank you for feeling my pain! I have no family support system at this time but have since found a good babysitter and trying to get family slowly invovled. You have 4?? Wow. This is my 3rd and I'm done. They ARE beautiful though, aren't they?
Great video! Good luck to you! You guys have the hardest job! I am about to be deployed overseas for 15 months and marrying my soulmate and best friend Jenny this month. She will have to be alone our first year of marriage. I did a video on here trying to win a digital camcorder so I can send her videos as often as possible! You win by getting the most comments! If you have time, I would appreciate a good comment! I will post the video link in your responses! Thanks and God Bless!
Im sorry, I remeber those sleepless nights! Did your husband get to be there for the babys birth? Its so hard when they have to be gone so long! My husband left the day our son turned 2 months old. I felt blessed that he was there for the birth though. I know lots of other wives whose husbands had to leave before birth! :( I also have a 4 year old.
Anyways, Im glad that the baby didnt get sick too. I know how worrysome that can be! God Bless♥
Thank you for sharing. Yes, My husband came home for the birth too! I felt blessed. He had to leave when whe was 2 wks old. It's been an uphill battle since. More so for him.
Thanx for the reply! My husband was here for the birth of our lovely daughter and had to leave after two weeks...But he's back now and we're sooooo happy to have him home!!
I can only imagine. Do you have someone who can give you a break- everyone needs an outlet, or just a day in which you can sleep in?

They are incredible... right up till they become teenagers! It's amazing how stupid mom and dad will get during their teenage years! :)
PS: Believe it or not, we're thinking about having another one!
