@ranchruler They will sell you the little container that the animal is in. if they aren't in a box, I think they will give you something, but I'm not 100% positive on that.
@ruralmadman It was just a display. They can't sell venomous snakes in Georgia. I do know that there is a show in the Carolinas that is a "hot" (venomous) expo.
I created a site, showmyreptile com, where you can upload pics, videos, start discussions, chat w/ other members, and start groups. Looking for members, would love for you to join. Thanks!
were there any albino ball pythons and do you remember what they were goin for. how bout normals. thanks and if you dont remember do you know what they normall go for.
no . . . :'( My mum and dad are somewhat convinced that a captive bread animal would not be happy be cared for at every waking moment :| and also I am a Junior in high school, so I kind of don't have any more time to make that sort of investment, what with college looming and everything. I don't know where I will be going, or if the college will accept animals. But Ty has gotten a rosy boa Yah for him! I will be making a animal blog soon so look for that (It'll have more infor)
very cool . . . jungle carpets are definitely one of my favorite looking snakes, they have great contrast which I love . . . post a video response of it if you want when you get it
I dont understand why someone would want to keep a rattler as a pet. I love the rattles and I get the whole "Oh its just for looks thing" but god, Id be so scarred itd escape or something.
Looks like a great expo though. The didnt have any monster burmese or reticulated at the one I went to though. Maybe in this upcoming one, eh?
I actually think that it is against YouTube rules to advertise on YouTube (I think I heard that from somewhere, but, I will answer any questions that you have. I will try to put a species list on the next video though. I actually have some stock video from a December expo that I need to edit, and then there is another expo coming up next saturday and sunday.
I had a dog that weighed no more than 40 lbs. She got into a copperhead pit and got bit 6 times and survived without going to the vet. She lost her litter of puppies, but she pulled through. Dogs have an amazing constitution.
We really didn't think she'd make it, but she did. We think that maybe the puppies somehow absorbed most of the venom, which is why she lost them. She was really mellow after that, but she was a very affectionate soul. This was many years ago, and we had to give her to my friend when we moved away. We called her Sloopy because of the song "Hang on Sloopy". She was a shar pei.
LOL!.guys everyone is invited to come to my channel! i have some nice video's of my snakes!come and check it out. dont forge to sub me!and to comment!!- cha0z
I honestly don't know if you can bring pets . . . my guess is that if you want to bring an animal(s) you have to have rented a table. But, again, I don't know, you should totally look into it. BTW what kind is your python?
no u cant because if u saw the first snake i think it was a viper or adder, ith that thing get loose ur not gonna have a dog any more a posssibly ur family or others would loose a member.
While the possibilities of the venemous snakes breaking loose are very slim, and that was a copperhead, which I guess could do some damage to a smaller dog, absolutely. Also introduction of other large animals, such as dogs into a snake/reptile's environment may stress it out.
yeah you could bring him, i saw plenty of people with their ball pythons, however it might be a little risky considering the amount of other animals that coulkd transmit disease
repticon goes to a few places.you go to the one at jamil temple in charleston? Looking forward to going there this spring and getting me a few more southern copperheads and maybe a pair of red spitters.
wow that pied at 1.14 was sweet, i love um. i like the litle fella at 1.33 was cool. the retics at 2.27 were sweet to. by the way, this may be a bit cheeky but could you send me a copy of the pied pic at 3.55 pls pls pls if you can just send me a msg an il send you my e mail addy thanks
