Babylon was a real place and one of the earliest civilizations. Also, Babylon was an enemy to Israel which is likely why it's made out to be synonymous with Hell in the Bible, as many early Christian writers were no more immune to political propaganda than the writers of today.

In other words, just dig the music and shut the Babylon up! Malmsteen rocks and this is a powerful song.

I agree with you totally as far as the content. Yngwie is a very intelligent dude and knows the Bible probably better than either of us. I just appreciate the musicalitaly and I seriously doubt GOD has a problem with that to be real. I was just simply saying it looks bad. I have3 been guilty of my comments at times myself. Jeff Scott Soto is the most generic, non-distinctive Metal singer I've ever heard. Overuse of falsetto? Check. Thin voice? Check. Artificial vibrato? Check.

He isn't bad, but he's plain bread with a tall glass of room-temperature tap water. Totally generic.

Göran Edman has feeling. He's a natural singer.
