You just don't see or hear this anymore not that I have found anyway. Celtic Woman (and the like) is a joke, its orchestrated, pretentious and the raw celtic feeling that makes celtic music what it is is totally extracted from the music its an absolute shame.
You have a perfect voice for this song, Sounds like something I would imagine you would hear in an irish pub at the turn of the 19th century. The feeling and the melody was nailed perfectly, nearly brought tears to my eyes. I don't speak Irish, but I am very familiar with Irish/Celtic folk music and especially this song, I can't tell you if the pronunciation is correct or not, but the whole Irish folk feeling tremendously shines through.
