After seeing this it makes me like and respect the guy even more! I actually tuned in here on YT to see some of his vids, and I like how he does it in a way that you can still see what's going on and what he's telling you even when you can't hear the volume. There is doubt that Master Park is true and humble....however there will always be haters.... i think he should just sit back and let them hate and just do what he does best.....he has nothing to prove to anyone and his years of practice and skill speaks for themselves . i know he means the best but by always speaking of and putting his haters on check only shows that it effects him and impowers the haters to continue...... just let it go =) Much respect and may peace be with you

I can understand that some people may not agree with Master Park's interpretation of martial arts history; but, there is always a way to disagree or debate a topic like this and still be respectful, and many of Master Park's critics use sarcasm and ridicule to discredit him. I believe people claimed that Bruce Lee was false too when he was teaching martial arts. All have rights to practice martial arts just because they are ARTS. The same way all can paint. The best painter can be seen by their works. The best martial artist can be seen by the number of good practiced pupils they have or by the number of diplomas and fights they had in their life. I believe Greg Park is a good teacher with good intentions of teaching people rather than making money.

Why do SOME people not like greg park? I dont know but think on this. There once was a man who preached love for his fellow man and never did a wrong thing. What did people do to him? I think anyone who makes an effort to try and teach the world more about a martial art of which we know so little (and that little bit we know of is buried deep beneath video games and bad movies) deserves some praise. Way to go Greg, and way to go Toshiko. Keep on keepin' on
the only thing that I found myself hard to believe is that ninjas come from Korea...Everything else about this guy is just fascinating...His explanations and lessons,his skills and accuracy,technique and speed...say what you want,he may be a fraud or maybe he lied for a few things but you can't deny knowledge and skill of ninjutsu...hate him if you must,but he will still shine.
Choson does not have anything against other religions races or anything and admires them....there is no reason to hate him unless you are JEALOUS. Because he has done hard work and you have slacked....because he is good and you are evil?
Outstanding representation. I have watched many of his short training clips and they are very informative and practical. He has excellent teaching skills and appears to be a genuine nice guy! Christian values are just icing on the cake for me! I will make a trip to LA to train with him this year.

I don't understand why people would dislike him over jealousy, because he had a determination and passion at what he does. He didn't just become a Martial Arts/Ninjitsu master, or something like that, like how some musicians like Mozart was a prodigy as a kid, it took him years to get this good, and why not have fun with it? I highly respect what he does.
I also felt like saying that I'm not shocked at all with ninja being from Korea, but I would if they were not of an asian country!

What are the rates of persecution over there, particularly in Japan? I know South Korea actually has a lot of Catholics, supposedly. hes a real modern day ninja, regardless of race or religion, as long as you have discipline, good training, and skills you are a ninja. Regardless of whatever art you follow, as long as it will keep you alive, then do it. I've only known this guy through youtube for a week but hes one of my favorite martial artists now.

I honestly thought his name was Kevin...Huh, Well Greg Park reminds me of my Sifu David Collins. Both men are proud to be American, Martial artists and experts in many different styles, and dedicated to Jesus Christ Our lord and savior. Both men teach for free if not for an affordable price. Our lessons are $1 per night class for two hours and private lessons are $20, however Sifu Collins is very reasonable. But both men are True Masters. They don't show off, yet are open on teaching.
Japanese don't like Koreans, don't like Chinese, don't like all other Asians... Just as every Asian ethnicity thinks they're superior. ChosenNinja has shown his skill. There will always be doubters.

I have only known he existed for a couple days now, and I cant stop watching his videos. Master Park is the real deal, to have access to such a man is an honor.

perhaps some people take issue in the usage of the word "truth". there are many truths out there that work for different people. pushing your truth as truth for all becomes problematic. it is telling others what to think or do.
i dont have a problem with Greg Park from the videos ive seen of him. i am not religious, and his video ending of a "blessing" doesnt bother me. i just ignore it and focus on the parts of the video that appeal to me.

As a small note to AussieSteve; Greg didn't create Nintaijutsu. It is a term that has been used in Japanese Ninjutsu for a couple hundred years but no matter; Greg is very skilled and I hold him in High Respects as a Honorable Budoka.

Well its because people of jealous of his skills. There are many martial arts founders out there who are not as skilled and Greg Park. Just because he founded Nintaijutsu people want to criticise him but you can obviously see he is a talented martial artist. Watch all of his videos. I don't know many martial arts founders who have all of his ability, even without weapons. He should simply ignore the critics. I don't know why he mentions Japan or Korea? he doesn't need to, his skills are great.

What the point of this video? There wont be ever a single person who will be loved by every one, he is a great guy and people who respect him won't turn there back on him because some one hates him.
Don't get me wrong, from what I've seen I think Greg Park seems like a good martial artist and a pretty cool guy. As an atheist I will tell you that him being Christian has nothing to do with the disliking or trolling going on. I do find the typical Christian attitude which he shares somewhat condescending, but thats not it. The reason is that his skill in korean ninjutsu far exceeds the martial skill of many Japanese ninjutsu practitioners and so he is a threat to their ninjutsu "monopoly".
maybe it's because he is well spoken and articulate, a natural leader.
Or perhaps it is because he is willing to share and does not selfishly gaurd his techniques, like so many others, afraid of losing their power over other people.
Greg is an incredible martial artist and a charming, intelligent presenter.

the only thing that I found myself hard to believe is that ninjas come from Korea...Everything else about this guy is just fascinating...His explanations and lessons,his skills and accuracy,technique and speed...say what you want,he may be a fraud or maybe he lied for a few things but you can't deny knowledge and skill of ninjutsu...hate him if you must,but he will still shine.

Outstanding representation. I have watched many of his short training clips and they are very informative and practical. He has excellent teaching skills and appears to be a genuine nice guy! Christian values are just icing on the cake for me! I will make a trip to LA to train with him this year.

I don't understand why people would dislike him over jealousy, because he had a determination and passion at what he does. He didn't just become a Martial Arts/Ninjitsu master, or something like that, like how some musicians like Mozart was a prodigy as a kid, it took him years to get this good, and why not have fun with it? I highly respect what he does.
I also felt like saying that I'm not shocked at all with ninja being from Korea, but I would if they were not of an asian country!

@Oty3d And this is very true, unfortunately. I know there is a lot of persecution here and in most of Europe... But I have very little experience in Asia. What are the rates of persecution over there, particularly in Japan? I know South Korea actually has a lot of Catholics, supposedly. I have an old friend from that country who moved down here in the States a few years ago - he's awesome, and really kind.

hes a real modern day ninja, regardless of race or religion, as long as you have discipline, good training, and skills you are a ninja. Regardless of whatever art you follow, as long as it will keep you alive, then do it. I've only known this guy through youtube for a week but hes one of my favorite martial artists now.

I honestly thought his name was Kevin...Huh, Well Greg Park reminds me of my Sifu David Collins. Both men are proud to be American, Martial artists and experts in many different styles, and dedicated to Jesus Christ Our lord and savior. Both men teach for free if not for an affordable price. Our lessons are $1 per night class for two hours and private lessons are $20, however Sifu Collins is very reasonable. But both men are True Masters. They don't show off, yet are open on teaching.

Master Park, I see no reason for anyone to dislike you from what we see in your videos. Only an ignorant person would do so. You seem to be very humble and very gifted in your Art! Truly amazing! Only wish I lived in your area and could receive training from you. My daughter-in-law is half Korean which makes my grandson one fourth Korean and they are two of my favorite people! Your wonderful faith may be what draws hatred from others...faith in God seems to bring out the worst in some people.

The only reason one could despise one as Greg is out of sheer envy.
I thought I was pretty cool being trained in multiple weapons (Katana, dual, odachi, mid-longrange).
Then I see him top me in all those weapons (Minus odachi) and even some I haven't learned myself.
But after watching his Video, I can whirlwind a bostaff now :P

perhaps some people take issue in the usage of the word "truth". there are many truths out there that work for different people. pushing your truth as truth for all becomes problematic. it is telling others what to think or do.
i dont have a problem with Greg Park from the videos ive seen of him. i am not religious, and his video ending of a "blessing" doesnt bother me. i just ignore it and focus on the parts of the video that appeal to me.

Before you are so certain about the Christian thing let me tell you that as a born and raised western-atheist, I like Greg just fine neither because or despite his faith.

ChosonNinja (Greg) has been and is a great Inspiration to countless people. I hold him in high regard of his skill, Mind, inner peace and his teaching skills.
I have never trained under him but I would if I had the chance.
As a small note to AussieSteve; Greg didn't create Nintaijutsu. It is a term that has been used in Japanese Ninjutsu for a couple hundred years but no matter; Greg is very skilled and I hold him in High Respects as a Honorable Budoka.

Well its because people of jealous of his skills. There are many martial arts founders out there who are not as skilled and Greg Park. Just because he founded Nintaijutsu people want to criticise him but you can obviously see he is a talented martial artist. Watch all of his videos. I don't know many martial arts founders who have all of his ability, even without weapons. He should simply ignore the critics. I don't know why he mentions Japan or Korea? he doesn't need to, his skills are great.

Don't get me wrong, from what I've seen I think Greg Park seems like a good martial artist and a pretty cool guy. As an atheist I will tell you that him being Christian has nothing to do with the disliking or trolling going on. I do find the typical Christian attitude which he shares somewhat condescending, but thats not it. The reason is that his skill in korean ninjutsu far exceeds the martial skill of many Japanese ninjutsu practitioners and so he is a threat to their ninjutsu "monopoly".

His skills, personality, and qualities have attacked the pride of others as they do not measure up. While he hasn't attacked them directly, they have responded as though he did.
