Just wondering, why is the driver shifting so early? Either it revs up way fast or he is just shifting early? I heard the gears are kinda short, but I wouldn't think that short, even with more than stock power.
@deviantlinux hes not necessarily shifting early, hes just letting his foot off the gas (and causes the BOV to actuate). Few times he was shifting early but theres no need to redline it
see bud i hope u dont think your stock wrx would sound like this just because of a BOV. You have to have things like an upgraded turbo, wastegate intercooler, just big inlets. Things like BOVs and intake systems are cheap upgrades but actually do damage if applied to stock wrx engines. Ask a subaru specialist if you dont believe me i had an intake on my stock 2.0l turbo and i put the stock air box back on, threw in a k&n filter and gained 8 hp!!! im runnin just stage 1 and i got 195 rwhp!!
@Holdnitdown240 The stock turbo only creates so much boost, so therefore the stock BOV doesnt make a super woosh sound because the car is only running around 11 to 13 psi stock. An aftermarket BOV and intake are meant to be put on a turbo car when it is producing upwards of 20 to 25 psi. Why? because all the pressure that that huge turbo is creating has to go somewhere when you release the gas and shift... so thats the sound you hear! BOOM! get it now fucktard
@brssmnky88 i was responding to a brilliant question posed by nyfighter "is the gt30 smaller than the gt35?" hahahh it wont spool that late on an sti, i would rather have a gt30, i like a quick spool. i have a 57trim on my tc and it takes too long to get to full boost IMO
