I just bought the Multitec. I went for the Anthracite colour. The great thing about this helmet over every other helmet I've owned over the last 31 years is that it's the most comfortable lid I've had and you have good all round visibility. When looking over my shoulder I don't have to strain my neck anymore I can see quite well as to what is coming up either side of me. Ten out of ten to Shoei for this design and although I paid £300 for it, I think it was a good investment.
@TheCrazymook Yeah, i would recommend it, the overall quality is good and ventilation system works ok. With the relative low top speed of a 50cc, the windnoise should be acceptabel. But if you going to a motorcyckle, the windnoise is high with this helmet, but it can be lowered alot with the "chin gard", wich can be bought seperatly and is not expensive.
@kfk84 lol ? - I have had alot of diffrent helmets, and there is a BIG diffrence in how much wind noise you can hear inside the helmet. Maybe you dont think it bothers you, but trust me if you ride alot over just 80 km/h lets say 4 hours a week, your hearing will sooner or later be damaged by it, unless you do something to prevent it like using protecting earplugs.
@MissMan666 I work as a motorcycle courier so most of my riding is in city centre, I do get long distance jobs which obviously requires me to use the motorway but even then it does'nt bother me. I'm probably still doomed to end up with hearing probs lol.

raid 2 helmet is great quality, but it has alot of wind noise. Got one my self.

@MissMan666 What Shoei helmet does'nt? lol in fact all helmets produce wind noise but personally I never notice it enough to bother me.
