I have a really wierd question, but I want someone who is old enough to remember this movie when it was in the theater. Were most of the actors in this movie really movie star nobodies before this movie came out in the early 1980s? Was it a pretty big movie in the theater ($ made wise etc) I think it is funny looking at Patrick Swayze, emilio, and Tom Cruise as nobodies professionally because they are such big deals professionally and so famous. :) Were they like nobodies before this movie??????

Swayze) who by the way was the same age as I am now as the "adult" on the set outside of their director (not sure how old he was). Pretty funny to think about all of these very famous actors as basically professional nobodys before their 20's took them off into famous land! :) Rob Lowe's book gave me a glipse of 1980.
