Whether Palpatine's deceptive promise was true or not, Anakin wouldn't have been able to save Padme as a Sith. The Sith don't believe in mercy, and they believe mercy is a weakness. If Anakin showed mercy for Padme as a Sith, he wouldn't be the Sith Lord Palpatine envisioned he'd be.

For a part of a film that has an unreleased film score - like this part - how do you get the music only (at least mostly)?

Does anyone have at least a half-decent explanation of why Padme died even though she was perfectly healthy? I think that a broken heart is just streching it.

@ForceEmpire ..yes yes..no kidding...Lucas lost his already half baked mind for this trilogy, and it tweren't all there to begin with...This is the best one of the trilogy for sure, although parts of the first 2 are great (Darth Maul, Quai-Gon, most of Clone Wars)

It wasn't Anakin's Force Choke that killed her. It just injured her and she was unconscious. The main reason Padme died was because she lost the will to live because Anakin had become a monster of the dark side that Padme never knew.

@RinluJedi Very well put. The entire dream sequence anakin had about her even dying was all created by Palpatine to draw him torwards him as well.

@michaelandymyers I know. Anakin couldn't have created that vision himself. Anakin could've saved Padme as a Jedi Knight. Earlier in the Clone Wars, Anakin always saved Padme.

When Star Wars comes out on Blu-ray Disc they really need to add this feature. A lot of other movies have it on there disc and this fantastic soundtrack deserves no less.
