would you not drink this without the unhopped malt extract? you seem to add unhopped malt extract in all your brews on top of whatever it is ur brewing.
@sexylilthug77 The recommended additional fermentables for the Coopers Irish Stout is 500 grams of dry malt extract and 300 grams of dextrose. I wanted to boost the gravity even higher and decided to do so with a full can of unhopped malt extract syrup. I prefer all malt beers most of the time.
Cool. Can't wait for the taste test. Must admit I cringed when you poured that starter and left behind all those good yeasties. Always swirl the starter! Cheers!
@PeiHomeBrewer Thanks. I'm sure I made more than a couple of mistakes. But I think I can find a more local spot to dispose of it. I sampled today (I made it 2 days ago) and it's nice already. I'm going to give it at least 2 weeks before bottling this one.
