  • I have a black and silver Passion CDi named Bobby.

I buy the occasional expensive gifts for him including a alloy Brabus gear knob and wider Pulse alloys.

I may consider a set of Brembo cross drilled discs for him but that will have to wait a while as he is still very new and changing new discs for the sake of it is silly.

  • very good brabus! :D

  • @Lucarex14

This is not a version Brabus! ;)

  • wow...i think i am in love with this car... I dont know what to say ^^ MOOOM, I WANT THIS dam!!

  • You're in love with it? Imagine owning one

It's one of the most amazing feelings in the world

  • i love smart!!!!

  • yes it's a mitsubishi engine ! all my friend work in the Smart factory in Hambach France. the old version has a mercedes engine ... and i'have a smart car (but.. in second car)

  • Engine by Mitsubishi???

No way its from Mercedes himself, you stupid!!

  • engine by mistubishi... read it and weep, 66% more cc's than the mercedes 600cc diesels the europeans get. same size as a geo/chevy metro 3 cylinder with 15 more HP!

  • If we can get the Brabus version in the States at some point, I am ALL OVER this bizatch.

  • I would love to rock the Smart. I guess the only thing that gets me is the tranny. I hope they fix the delay that it has. Otherwise cool car. Such a chick magnet.

  • the new trannies are 5 speeds that have shift times half of the 6 speed box. i never drove one, but i seen a few in vegas. i put a deposit down on one the first day they were offered in america, hopefully i'll get it in a few weeks!

  • i want one god dammit! but i live with my parents and i have no job or money.

  • weird, americans seem to be more interested in the smart than europeans. various models of smart have been available here for ages but very few people buy them. it's a bit *too* small, even as a second car. it's seen more as a gimmick, which is why so many of them are used as mobile billboards and promotional vehicles for all kinds of "hip" brands.

  • shut up SHUT UP!! dont you say that!!!

  • what are you, a moron?

  • Scion xB's suffer the same fate.

But I still love them. <3

  • wow, -3, huh? woopdeedoo... did i say something offensive or what? next thing you'll be calling me anti-american for having an opinion.

djeezus, you guys don't take criticism well, do you..

  • actually swatch pulled out early on the first smart. this new smart has nothing to do with swatch. also i have bought one and get it on the 1st october

  • Smarts cars. Gen2 fortwo

    Engine made by Mitsubishi

    Manufacture by Mercedes

    Designed by Swatch

    Smart

    Swatch Mercedes ART

By the way, I drive a 2007 Lumina..

I can drive 5 times as far on the same gas in a smart car.

Also be amazed how many people will stop you and be impressed by your smart. My brother has one for his business and gets call from people that see it.

  • It's German, not Japanese, I think, but yeah, if I had the money(but I don't cause Im only 15) I would buy the 14,000 grand, Smart- Passion, I really like that one.

  • and this cars only gonna start at 12 grand...

  • If i had a golf course i'd buy that but for the streets HELL no i wouldnt be driving that around.

  • i've been driving 3 cylinder cars for 19 years, a subaru justy and a chevy metro, the new smart will have more power than both and be a bit lighter, my subaru could lite the tires when revved.

  • I've been driving one in the states for about a year. It's a real head turner. It's like being best friends with a rock star. Everyone wants to know about it. About half of the people want to know how to get one. I think they will sell very very well in the states.

  • You're an idiot PetaV8, go cry in your hummer. They are the best car I've ever owned.

  • Pile of shit, anyone who drives one is an idiot and looks like an idiot at the same time

  • and never having to go to a gas station again pricless

  • they wont sell well in U.S.. they are over priced, the parts cost too much because they're MB products, they will be unreliable because they are a recent Mercedes product, and will not have the reliability of a Japanese make.

  • LOL, MB has already oversold their allotment for the USA, what they estimated for sales, and I'm at the top of the list, i put my deposit down the first day they were available. and they got a jap engine!

  • Made in Hambach :) great car really cool to drive in the city! ...and the girls love this car this is pretty cool :) you'will scored many chicks ;)..small is beautiful !

  • I like it; my gf loves it. However, I think we will not buy it UNTIL it is offered in a ELECTRIC version. Make the Smart EV available in Los Angeles and we will buy it!

  • Then that means it would take longer to charge wouldnt it? I mean, the engine is basically japanese itself (straight from the financially-troubled Mitsubishi Motors)

  • Longer to charge? I don't get it. Does one wait around waiting for a cell phone to charge? I don't. I'd plug both in before bedtime. No probem.

  • It's not electric, it's gasoline or diesel powered

  • Visit Smart's site. Under "models", select "the smart ev" and you can read about the ELECTRIC smart fortwo.

  • Finally sense in a world of non-sense.. That thing hits the New York Market. You have one Nissan Altima owner switching over. SOLD! Count me in.

  • these are some cool cars

  • hey you wanna see some really cool cars go to fast european cars by user us0292 they have some nice rides to show in that video

  • very interesting machine, i've heard very good reviews on it. I can't wait to see one in real life on American streets. What is funny is I have a 78 Ford Bronco (gas guzzling, huge, loud, mean, all the good stuff), that car could probably fit in the back, lol. Great idea for city driving, but I would probably not buy one myself in the near future. I think it looks sporty for such a small dinky car, props on exterior.

  • if I had the money I would buy one in an instant!

  • I'd buy it in a heartbeat if they offered the base model for under $14K. Any higher and I might as well get a barebones Mini Cooper thats a few years old.

  • the base model will be under $12K, I've had one on order since last march, should be getting it in a few weeks :) a pure, black on black!

  • i have a fortwo 2007 and i love it its better for the outside but the new one have a beautiful interior.

  • i think it looks great. i drive a scion xA and love it. i would probably not buy this anytime soon tho b/c there are just too many suv's and hummers and trucks on the road that would demolish it in a accident.

it's very sporty looking though. i like how it sort of sit's up...

  • Please post your opinion on this production vehicle.

  • This a much better improvement on the current model. All the changes they've made for this one are spot on. Being an avid Smart fanatic, i would buy this new version...if i had the money. But i'm going to get a second hand one instead.
