brussels is the real power of the unelected and unaccountable eurocrats who run the organization. the politicians are working together for their own selfish needs while being used for a bigger agenda. lisbon treaty is a fine example of this, most people in the eu have no idea about the contents of this document. you're blindly defending a system which was set up by nazis(prince bernhard of holland for example)through such secret globalist organizations as the bilderberg group.
If the Lisbon treaty is not adopted things will be much harder in Europe, trust me. Also, eurocrats are "unelected" exactly in the same way that governments are unelected - because it is government ministers who make up the most powerful institution, the Council. Also, the European Parliament - which IS directly elected - has power of co-decision with the Council on most issues. Lisbon would make this co-decision power almost universal. Looks like it's you who has no idea.
Nigel Farage's speech? Really? Those are arguments? I don't even want to get into the debate on Lisbon, but even Nigel must laugh at himself sometimes.
Manuel Barosso was seen flicking a cigar much in the same way an italian mobster might have ... into a pile of documents moments before the fire broke out

When I came to Brussels the first thing we saw was a burning commission. That was weird. But we could get into the Parliament anyway.
