A constructive criticism: the angle is fine for training and for a means of egress, but you need someone footing it, ESPECIALLY during training. The ladder at that angle is more prone to slipping out.
You should also review bailing out at steeper angles. Never know when the ladder is going to be just sitting there and there's no time to adjust... BAIL BAIL BAIL!

Good point. It is hard to see, but the ladder is tied off both at the top and the bottom.
And I agree. This was the first attempt at this skill, so the ladder was placed that way to make it easy as possible.

The less severe the angle of the ladder the better when using a ladder for egress.
