She's continuing to write those books, make no mistake. You can see it on her face when she answers the question. Now. She MAY not choose to publish it.
There aren't that many people who have written seven books". No, and there aren't many plagiarists who have gotten away with writing-up another authors series of titles first designed in the form of story-boards either. Jo Rowling fits the bill of a plagiarist. I am the original author and that is a fact. Mylord. Amplify the truth, not the lies.
Damn that woman! I can't watch an interview of hers without almost crying everytime she leaves the stage. She has stolen my heart and mind and I just cannot stand watching her leave us. And OH when she talks about finishing it my goodness, how that must of felt for her, as overwhelmed as I was at the end (more from the finality of it than the actually story) she is 200 times more connected with those characters than we ever were. wow.
is she talking about the chapter a princes tale if so i wouldnt blame her for crying her eyes out i did Jk rowling is a complete genius words cant describle her
just thinking...these books are all concerned on christian values..harry's sacrifice for the greater good...the forest like a place of meditation...his "resurrection"...
J K Rowling, J R Tolkein - what fantastic worlds they have created. places people can escape for a few hours, from the mudane harshness of reality, to worlds of magic, mythology and fairy tale. For that I thank you.
The real magic in this world is that of these great visionaries
By the way, I believe The Forest Again is when she sobbed afterward. That's when Harry finds out he was betrayed by Dumbledore and has to die "for the greater good", leaves without looking for Ron & Hermione to say bye, walks to the forest, resurrects his parents, Sirius, and Lupin, and then is 'killed' by Voldemort. That, I believe, is the chapter. Which I can understand.. I sobbed as I read it!
I wonder which chapter she means when she said she had to cry. was it that one with dumbledore???or when fred, tonks and lupin died? or was it when snape died and you finally see what he went through all these years?
@fabfourgroupie i saw in another interview that asked a similar question where she said that chapter 34 "the forest again" made her cry the most. It even made me cry and I never cry while reading a book. Such a poignant chapter
@purpleshamrock17 i see, thanks. yeah i cried too when harry saw his parents again and when he said sorry to tonks and lupin. i cried too, when i was thinking about how brave harry was and how much he loved his friends to die for them.
makes sense that she cried too while writing this chapter.
It's easy to forget that she hasn't just created a series of characters and a storyline, she has created an entire WORLD. That is an amazing achievement, and I can't thank her enough. It's my favourite series of books by a long shot, and I'm sad that they're finished but at the same time I think that it shouldn't be continued. I will read this book to my kids and pass on the magic :)
i literally can't get over how smart that woman is! The amount of thought and intelligence that went into all those books is astounding and ... she IS my hero! She makes me want to be more creative and read and write and wow i can't get over how amazing she is. Wondeful woman :)
I think she should write a book about the life of Tom Riddle. That would be more of a fitting story don't you think. Like really going in depth about the person himself rather then voldermort.
@Maybsumdayuwillno I was thinking the same thing when I read the sixth book, I really wanted a Tom Riddle story. Also a story exclusively Sirius Black or Remus Lupin, or James Potter (In that Order).
My ambition is to be such a brilliant composer that I can make enough money to be able to ask her out without her thinking that it was her money I was after.
i think she was talking about The Princes Tale, because she knew Harry was coming back so it can't have been that emotional and Fred wasn't a whole chapter - just a couple of paragraphs.
@SplendiferousSylvia I think she is talking about the scene where harry tries to sacrifice himself. I don't think the death of fred was planned for that long.
This woman has given me such a positive escape when life is crashing all around me. I want to meet her soo bad so i can tell her thank you for saving my life!
Just think, here they're talking about the theme park. And it's open this July.
She's such a softly spoken women, I like her a lot. I'm re reading them now, and now I'm older seeing all the things I missed as a child, these are timeless books. And it's true that anyone can enjoy them at any age.
@philipa9876 snape gave harry his memories revlovling around lilly and his sworn duties to protect hary before he died, he gave them to harry and harry looked at them, in the pensiv

1:15 She can only think of one? Robert Jordan Steve Erickson Anne McCaffrey C.S. Lewis Tolkien Ursula K. Le Guin Frank Herbert Terry Pratchett You are not the only living fantasy author, Jo. And those listed above are hallmarks of the genre you hold in high disregard.
No, she hasn't. But next to the seven "main" Harry Potter books, she has written three other Harry Potter books: One about Quidditch, one about magical animals and one with magical fairytales.

Yeah I know, if you read my comment clearly, you would see what I said. I know there is a part 1, by another account owner, but I just wanna know why this dumb fuck put only part 2 up BEFORE part 1 was put up by another user
I think it might be the forest again too. However, I would love it if it was the whole Snape's memory about Lily chapter. That chapter alone made me completely fall in love with Snape. Unrequited love, there is really nothing sadder than that.
I think J.K. Rowling is such a beautiful looking woman, and so classy. I was surprised that she was that attractive when I first saw her. I thought she would be a "he" first of all due to her name J.K., but she is just amazing.
dont worry many did. acutally that was the idea. publishers thought if people thought a woman wrote it, it would attract less of an audince when she first started.
xXxmissemmaxXx, were "you" surprised too, that she was so attractive? I hate to keep going on about it but really...I was just taken aback a bit. Ha:-)
Although I didn't like that a lot of the characters died, it wasn't "stupid". In the Harry Potter series, they were fighting a war against a very dangerous wizard. Jo knew what she was doing, she's a pro.

Some people want young white females to mix with non-white males.
I made a one-minute video highlighting a very tiny sample of race-mixing advertisements.
I love white people, and I am opposed to race-mixing. But I do not hate non-whites.

The Forest Again
camstar2006 2 years ago

Ha:-)

I think she's a little shy of TV interviews, and even after all the money and fame it still shows. Nothing wrong with that though, I really liked her

I think she is very embarrassed about how successful her shitty little books turned out to be

Hate on "Twilight," not on something that is actually worth the money and time.

Although I didn't like that a lot of the characters died, it wasn't "stupid". In the Harry Potter series, they were fighting a war against a very dangerous wizard. Jo knew what she was doing, she's a pro.
But I do wish certain characters didn't die. =(
