@winterka100 Check out the Crescent Bar Kite Tubing video response on this page, it shows how stable it **can** be. Takes practice though. I'm pretty sure that in my video the driver backed off an already sensitive old throttle ('94 Mastercraft) too quickly, which caused the kite tube to fall down too quickly.

It wouldn't have been a big deal with a hang glider.Having flying hang gliders for 20 years, I cringe to watch the almost total lack of control these things have.The illusion is that all you have to do is jump on and go flying.Because of the high speeds they need to get flying,and that most people believe that they are just going for a passive joy ride, they don't realise that they may as well be flying over concrete.

Lots of very thoughtful people continuously remind me through these comments that "they are illegal" but so is going 56MPH in a 55zone. Nobody is gonna take it outta your hands unless you go to some hugely populated lake and start crashing into people or encounter some really zealous marine patrol who didn't get any last night. All that said, they pop up on eBay every now and then, so keep your eyes open!
