he actually does not use the gyroscope 100 % in the video. he only tilts the phone left and right, when he could have moved the whole phone and it would have detected it.

As of today, there are only 5 game apps, and 3 utility apps that are gyroscope enabled. That list is sure to grow. I've made a youtube channel to keep track of gyroscope enabled apps for the iPhone4 as they come out. Have a look.

@iAppTime They're two different things. Accelerometer on its own is limited by only being able to track movements through momentum/acceleration whereas the gyro can track according to gravity & rotation. What they do is tie them together to get the best of both, almost 1:1 tracking. These two combined with the compass will mean insanely accurate motion sensing.. This will be amazing for augmented reality (check out layar on the iPhone 4)

I really wanted a new iPhone after all the hype but after seeing 1 today im not over impressed, its the same as my 3gs but with a better camera that i wouldnt use anyway, problems with holding the phone which apple say hold it different ???, a £500 phone and I can't hold it the way I want are they takin the piss
