  • hey this total war

  • They should have kept going with this show.

  • Ahhh MAN... I WATCH THE SHOW SPARTACUS AND NOW THEY TELL ME CRICSUS DIES!!! NO!!!

  • don't drink and fight

  • LOVE this show! Can't wait for 'Spartacus Vengeance' coming to STARZ in 2012!

  • gladatorial contests where slaves fought to the death were as popular then as they would be now.

  • i doubt he was a roman soldier who deserted and was made a gladiator, someone who fights so hard for freedom would never have deserted a army he made a commitment to.

  • I wonder how Rome survived after this. Sure the Romans might have won but they wiped out all there slaves

  • @badpanda84

They acquired more slaves.... from Gaul.

  • BRING THE SHOW BACK!

  • Matthew Settles hair is getting a little grey.

  • *like saying "I TOOK A SHIT! BUT NO ONE WAS THERE TO SEE IT!" seriously go fuck yourself

  • @Koguryeo19 haha your gay

  • cool story bro! But you should really tell it to someone who actually cares. And you pointing such a trivial fact is likr

  • Nothing much has changed we are now really slaves, to banks and governments.

  • @bradyischamp you misheard it. he said 1/3 are slaves and 2 million slaves serve 4 million romans.

  • lol if this is a real documentary, than it is kinda sad they used a video game to show the battle, even the music are soundtracks of the game

    Rome total war ftw....

  • lol i just copy and pasted the info from wikipedia...relax

  • @Koguryeo19 You have managed to fail at copying and pasting, here is the correctly formatted copy of what it says on the wikipedia page:

    "(c. 109 BC – 71 BC)"

  • @ImaginedWriter ask me if i care?

  • Comment removed

  • Spartacus (c. 10971 BC) was the most notable leader ...

wow, that's amazing, didn't know it was THAT long ago!

    .......

  • @biggieboy2510 it was 109 to 71 bc

  • did they use rome total war

  • viva la revolucion! give me death or give me liberty!!!

  • sick people! have people fight to the death for diversion ,no wonder the roman captila got sacked, karma...why cant we all get along ?gay humans

  • gravest threat to Rome since Carthage? The Italian civil war and the Germanic invasion stopped by Marius were MUCH bigger threats.

Crassus doesn't get enough credit. He wasn't just the richest Roman but was Sulla's main general in the civil war and had a very good record.

  • @prplhze2000 The civil war maybe, but not the germanic invasion

  • Wiped out the Romans at Arusio. Army of a quarter million men. What saved them was Marius had a battle hardened army in North Africa and had Sertorious and Sulla for legates.

  • @prplhze2000 Quarter million men women and children, migrating. not warriors. thou there would of been tens of thousands of warriors, they would of been at a huge disadvantage moving with their families. Still a great threat but they where not hell bent on destroying the Romans. unlike the slaves who escaped and wanted revenge. Just my opinion

  • the gravest threat to rome since carthage, wat we were then my brothers

  • Holy crap!! I thought I had seen all the videos of this show, but I have never seen this one!!!! WooT Break out the popcorn and redbull!!

  • @ImThePutz lol i so agree

  • This doesn't portray gladiatorial combat very well. Gladiators had a 95% chance of survival and very few battles were to the death. Nor was it unlikely if a slave became a gladiator. After two successful fights, a gladiator could make as much as a legionnaire would in a year. Soon, a gladiator may be able to buy his way out of slavery. Of course, there were deaths, hence the false figures that are held as truth.

  • @englishfrenchgerman how do you come up with the 95% statistics? You mean you went back in time and counted the number of gladiator killed?

  • @NoShame86 No I read the figure in a history book. Don't ask me how they knew the figure.

  • the series has been discontinued unfortunately

  • @WIDR101 whatre you talking about? o.O

  • Do thy still make these descisive battle videos? I enjoy them a lot!!

  • @majormuss no, unfortunatley the series was discontinued

  • @majormuss No thay don't!:( It ended about 2 or 5 years ago:(

  • @majormuss no, sucks, doesn't it

  • @majormuss fraid not man they canceled after just 13 showings in 2004
