There woz a cheat on that first level. If u jump off the 2nd platform backwards (just to the right of the 1st complete ladder), u warp to the next level. Think it woz actually a bug in the game.

My mate used to get chucked off this machine as he was on so long and as far as i remember, our video shop version used to clock at 250000 or 450000 i forget,, but i always thought a weird score to do so, or maybe it was the amount of levels (but was 26 years ago!)
