Poland and germany have since then always been on the forefront for making replacement hardware and new software. This "Lemmings" by Datri is Polish and quite new (2005). There's also another decent Lemmings-alike called the Brundles by KE-Soft. That's from Germany. These games (and an emulator to run them) are easily found on the net.
In fact Lemmings by DATRI is Czech and came out in 1998, but only at tape. Many years later Fandal, with my permission, converted the game to floppy disc.
Pardon me. Being dutch myself, polish and czech look alike to me. Nice of you to set my comment straight though. There's probably quite a bit in my library mislabled as being of polish origin, where it should read czech.

This version of Lemmings is for Atari 7800... This console is inferior about Nes 8 bit, yes, but it's similar althought.

there exists a much better verison of Lemmings on Atari 8bit. Tommings where written in Poland in the 90s.

there was a much better version of Lemmings for the 8 bit atari. 'Tommings" were made in Poland.
