  • just got back from this movie, it had no story line, every solider pretty much died within the first 30min, and the main character doesnt even get hurt, just bit, kills the kracken in like 5min and beats hades in less then a min, all in all, sucked

  • @talica1989

    This.

  • @talica1989 the graphics was pwnage though and the music timing

  • I have just seen the movie at the theatre and what a let-down! This is no love story between Perseus and Andromeda..There is no purpose at all in the storyline..It was so dull! How could they make such crap! Bubo plays no part in the whole movie, the Scorpion sequence is not great. Only Gemma Arterton saves the movie! And only just....

  • Kratos > Perseus

  • Awfull music it destroys the movie .....

  • I hate the music ! Rock music doesn`t work with ancient fairytale -just horrible !!!!

  • perseomusic,com

  • the original had a giant vulture, kalabos, the ferryman, cerberus, the stygian witches, giant scorpions, pegasus, the kraken, medusa, bubo the owl, an animated decapitated statue head, swamp people, and burgess meredith in a spooky cape! anything else...?

  • @666PANTYHOSE well this movie has a pretty Medusa, and a Kraken that looks like a turtle head with some tentacles .....i wasted money on 3D , yet when i took my glasses off it looked the same

  • Don't try to be a hero like Perseus. You can destroy out bodies but never escape our wrath. That's the lesson to be learned from the Tell Tale Heart. I'm Polo the Clown.

  • @jesussaves7777 Save the preaching for when it matters you idiot.

  • well i just whupped your ass- austin 3:16

  • Greeks are free peaple.Long life and good time to you greeks.

  • I wonder how those Greek Peas are doing.......hmm..........I wonder if the people have swallowed them yet....

  • This video was recomended to me because I watch videos from my state senate. What the hell?

    It looks great though.

  • Hopefully, the film includes music from Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and Testament!!

  • ΑΡΙΣΤΟΝ!!!

    (Ιn my language means "awesome"!!!!)

  • @Archangel106GR I have a question. How come Greeks are so sensitive when Hollywood or other movie enclaves do films based upon Greek lore and stuff? Is it just a cultural pride thing? It's just that when "300" came out, there were more complaints about the film coming Greeks than from Iranians, and its the Persians that "looked bad". Just curious.

  • My friend, most of Greeks they're like me.For the movie now,we felling proud to see other nations to look our history. For the Greeks now, because, and our forefathes they're was like us. Because we are a proud nation, and we have the duty to respect our country and our fathers and many times some persons or other countries they didn't respect our liberty and our rights! The greatest ideals for us!! We've not problem with other countries and we're not fascists!!!

    ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

    come and get it

  • Every countries are like that you idiot.

  • From your words and nothing more we're understand your level and the level of your country. You're just a cattle!!!

We don't have problems with people from other nations we respect them, but if you don't respect us don't cry ok? Your people they have not to eat. And for this reason they came to our lands. Find the solution first to feed your country and after this we talk again for the nation which gave the lights to your country and many others!!!! We're not fascists but don't challenge us!!!!

  • @Archangel106GR Respect ρε πατριωτη!

  • Ευχαριστώ ρε πατρίδα!!!!

  • Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny

  • Give me Ray Harryhausen any day!

  • Agreed. This new version looks like bollocks.

  • This film wont have nothing on the original 1981 Ray Harryhausen stop motion CLASSIC. I hope hollywood dont go through a phase of updating Harryhausen movies.

  • Sam Worthington is the man over the last year or so

  • THIS IS AWSOMEEE

  • Liam Neeson is totally awesome!

  • @darkbat657 to go from Taken to this...he just plays some great roles.

  • To appreciate this movie you gotta watch the original version

  • wheres the Cracken?

  • In the second trailer.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • The song is a remixed/edited version of 'The Bird & The Worm' by The Used.

  • @THEFIRSTAVENGERUSA thanks man.

  • "The Bird and the Worm" by The Used

  • This request goes out to HOLLYWOOD

"Please do not remake BLADE RUNNER"

  • they're already planning a prequel to Alien so I think a blade runner movie is just the ticket

  • I reckon Sam Worthington will do a good job in this film.

  • it's based on true events

  • probably that's why the Flood came

  • @STARskyfox777 AHAAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHA XD

  • Just because we cannot see certain characters or monsters does not mean that they will not be in the movie. This is but a teaser trailer. it is put out like this to draw your attention, not to spoil the entire damned movie. Be patient and they will release more trailers and you will likely be rewarded with a glimpse of our little mech-owl friend that we all love.

  • Looks great, but the original has Judi Bowker, and she was something to see.

  • You got that right man lmao

  • The Only Thing We Can Do Is Not See It :( Its terrible when the bad sound track got better comments than the actual trailer.... Epic Story but Holly wood will ruin it as usual.

  • this film did need to be remade with new technology although the trailer is quite disapointing. They didn't dipict persious at all. There was no view of the Kracken and they left out my personal favorite Clock-work. I am hopefull for the new movie but I am betting the new movie has been written horrible and they are going to butcher the charaters for graphics.

  • the backgroundsong is call the bird and the worm by the used

  • Thought out comments with good grammar, spelling and punctuation?

    Wow.

I AM still on YouTube, right?

  • i played calibos in this show last night and to be honest i probs will go and c this but not sure if it can compare to the old

  • this will be awesome

  • I'm sure the storyline behind the remake will fall well short of it's predicessor. Todays movie makers lack vision. Example: 1983 Excalibur vs. First Knight(Richard Gear) vs. King Arthur(Clive Owen). Sure the 1983 film lacked the technology, but the story had 100% more substance than the other two combined. Modern movies sell themselves and rely on visuals far too much. Story and character developement usually fall desperately short.

  • @WrknClassHero

I feel that perhaps you are over glorifying character development in older films. 1981's Excalibur was atrociously long, overbearing and lacked a sense of efficiency.

Modern film making allows for visuals to fill the gaps that were formerly filled by over extended dialogue and postering. It is important to remember that these remakes do not replace your favorite films, but tell these stories to a different generation who will likely not sit through something like the original.

  • You make a valid point, and I hope it reaches todays generation in a positive way.

Perhaps my view of these films has a root in the films of my growing up(as you know by the fact that you have actually seen EXcalibur). Im sure you can attest to the fact that when I grew up watching fantasy films of my day(I'm 35), the stories had to be told very differently. So I guess I have a different apreciation for their construct, as I'm sure you can relate to.

  • Yeah man, I completely understand what you are saying. I'm 25 myself, and I still love alot of what I grew up on, such as Conan and Predator, Alien/Aliens, many others. I think we've been fortunate to see some truly incredible film from recent times as well though, such as LOTR (couldn't ask for a better rendition) and recently 300. The new age of film-making relies heavily on visuals, but done right, it can still delever great stories.

  • I hope you all know this is a remake

  • that's right ..the original is from '81..and i remember watching it in my history class for a project !! the original , in all aspects is pretty cheesy now, but was amazing for back then !!

  • yeap TROY rocked, 300 was perfect...now lets see 'bout this one

  • Looks freaking awesome !!!

Add it to the list along with the new Wolfman........Oh yes

  • Can't wait to have this movie, happily sitting next to my copy of 300, as this movie is yet another great example of Greek mythology at its best!

  • Since when was 300 based on myth?

  • Thanks for the implied correction.

But to whoever gave me the thumbs down, zoh well. =\

  • Since always.

  • So you mean that 300 is built on facts? In reality it is a bit of both.

  • This might be good!

  • can't hardly wait!
