Stephen, are you alright? You look so nervous, can I get you something? oh, is it because you are sitting next to a legend? Don't worry, dear, you are quite a legend yourself.
"Oh for all the sea that spread its wings throughout the firmament I knew one thing would come to THIS particular door - bearing a tall waitress lovingly clad in silk - but you, I fear, are not she!"
Josie. I've such a cwush on her! John is always solid, and it's a wonder the studio was in one piece after the perfect storm of awesomeness that was Stephen and Peter.
But those are terrible American accents though. Don't worry, I'm not criticizing, that's what made it funny.
I'm not trying to degrade the American version of Whose Line here (I find it hilarious aswell), but I love seeing how much more cultured the audience and the performers are in this UK version. I mean, how many audiences on the US version call out Chekhov as one of their suggestions? :D
He is? Wow, I have absolutely no gaydar! Not that it matters but I am just awful. No sense for it at all, it took me about four years to find out that Sandi was gay!
The first thing you notice when comparing the british and the american version is that the american one goes somehow faster. You don't get to wait so long for the suggstions. Maybe that is why the american version is funnier to watch. The british is like you've watch black&white films again instead of Hollywood ones...
well to be fair when you are next to a talent like cook i would be frightened to say much. it's like doing a drawing next to van gogh. stephen held his own though
aww i just wanna go up and hug stephen. He never really liked doing tv versions of whose line

Wow. You wouldn't be able to smoke a cigarette on a TV show nowadays...
But god, it's nice to see some classic British Whose Line.
VyraManic 2 years ago 6
Not that it matters in the slightest, but I never knew that John Sessions was gay until just a few days ago. I still can't see it.
jenniferkelly89 2 years ago 3
I didn't know that either.

I've never found any sort of solid evidence about him being gay... so I'm in the same boat as you. I think he's straight, but who knows.

On the other hand, I've always liked the british version more because it features John Sessions and is also somehow funnier.
Although of course Tony Slattery is absolutely one of a kind.
