@fbforbill Bill also hurt her so much. She even admits, that it "Wasn't just the fun goofy eric I fell for" She has loved him for a while, and in his own way, he loves her back. Also, there hasn't been a time, where walking into the sun for her was needed. and I think if he did that for her, it would hurt her more, because she loves him too much. She had to say good bye to him, she had no choice. She said about all of them getting hurt, so she had to leave them both.

@LOVxxE Yes, Alex does bring character to Eric... I love that arrogant, bad ass, sarcastic witty Viking Vampire God.... of sexy! LOL I hope Alan will take a closer look at the writing next season... Eric is not only "no hunger puppy," he is no milque toast love sick romantic either. I sincerely believe that he would have needed time to reconcile the difference. I feel certain he would have felt rejected as in Eps 10, and that would have been funny to continue....
