Dawsome, if you consider Good Charlotte one of the "great bands of our time" you truly have my pity. There's a reason younger gen kids go back and listen to music before their time. Growing up with them doesnt make you a better fan then any else. I've grown up with them in the sense that I grew with their music, even though it's after they split up. Lucky for me I got to experience their new tour on Roskilde. I love the pixies and Black's music in my eyes is great as well. Two different things, but great anyhow. I really don't believe Thompson's looks had anything to do with it. Kim got a tremendous amount of attention just the way she was. I think that's what caused a lot of the band's internal friction, Chubby Chuck couldn't handle Kim's popularity. Fact is that both Thompson and Deal are dysfunctional when it come to interpersonal relationships, it was like a bad marriage. The reunion happened because they all needed the cash. Now that they have the money, they're back to being dysfunctional.
