Great start bro. I'm currently getting together my medieval village as well. Took an NPC village that was on the border of forest and desert and am expanding the grassy area for animal farms, etc. Castle is on the sandy coastline overlooking the water and I have an original lighthouse that I show on my channel. Also doing a windmill off a Google SketchUp idea I saw and trying to plan everything out to accomodate all the wool colors, animals, farms, etc. Looking forward to comparing later!

how to you keep the file size for fraps down?

i recorded a 5 min video and the file size was 4gb...

@Franeyyy You can't. Fraps stops recording at 4gb to reduce lag. You have to put all the clips together in a editing program :)

A barracks would have two doors, but not together most likely. Lamps outside, the interior is predominantly stone and log. There are many beds, each of which sports a torch and chest.

@monkeyace12345 You get two animals of each type to follow you with wheat and then you lead them into a drop off over two blocks high or a pre-made enclosure like a barn or just wooden fences at least. Then you close them in and just breed them with wheat (dogs with raw meat now apparently). The barracks would be a long house with a row of beds on either side and a chest with weapons and armor at the foot of each. Maybe a bell tower at top for alarms.

Maybe you could add an Inn type building, like a long building with different rooms.

a town would look awsome inside a giant fortress which is pretty much just a big wall around the town with a front gate and it looks really cool and fits the kind of time nicely :) :) :) :) :) :)

i think your town is a bit short but yust as you sayd your gonna build more you couldt build:

Blacksmith, Stabels, Doktor, klothshop, libary, dungeon, bigg castle, port, market, cathedral, church, farmers, mills, and more... if you need any help i defenetlie wanna help you ;) i like medievel stile buildings and i love castle's/ forts and stuff i have much castels so any way

Awesome but castle with windows ?

@MrRoki55 Yeah, at first I made it w/o windows, but to be honest it was sooo blank. It looks much nicer with windows (makes it open on the inside), trust me. Also most castles do have little windows that are sort of that skinny look, maybe not so big, but they do.
