  • did 2 of the 12s for a customer on 600rms under the rear seat of a silverado they sound GREAT and look real good!

  • whats the shallowest I could make the box if i went longer and wider?

  • What speaker wire would you recommend for these?

  • @BastardRevolver 12-14 gauge is sufficient.

  • What speaker wire would you recommend for these?

  • Can you run a Fosgate Punch 200a4 (4-channel amp) Only to one of these in a single 10" ? Or should I run the factory doors to with the amp also? My car is a BMW x5 with a stock amp...

  • are they as good ...as the kicker cvt 12", or rockford fosgate p3sd212, or maybe the pioneer ts-sw301.. can u tell me which one is better please if its not any trouble

  • @TheSugabear210 Absolutely they are. But, you would probably want to get some feedback from someone impartial as I am proud of this product and think it sounds amazing. It has a shallower mounting depth than the other models and works in a one of the smallest enclosures. You should look at each of the manuals to see what the F3 -3dB point is for each sub in the enclosure sizes they recommend.

  • SPL? The guy says it can handle frequencies down to 25Hz. . . So when it gets down by 25 will it start distorting or will it be loud and clear and smooth?

  • @King622 It far from an SPL woofer. It sounds very clear on the low end. Since it's a shallow sub designed for small sealed volume it actually has a natural peak in the 50Hz range. I typically recommend setting the Low Pass around 60-70Hz on this sub rather than the 70-80Hz cutoff I recommend on standard subs.

  • are you not able to put these subs into a ported box? i would love to see how this sub compares to my current sub

  • @orgnlmrwiggles No, small sealed only due to the design.

  • @orgnlmrwiggles y the hell would you have a shallow mount in a ported box?

  • How would these do in an infinite baffle? I might want to put one in my front doors.

  • @mporettim They should perform really well. They will simply use the volume of your door. I would suggest sound deadening the entire door frame first, but if you do it I would love to see a vid. That would be really cool!

  • I needed these back when I was building minitrucks :)

  • @Ugliest1uEVERsaw Yeah, we are hoping they catch on in the mini truck and even muscle car enthusiast. Take up very little space and sound great!

  • cool

  • I have a question, how often do you guys do the give aways like you did a week or two ago? I just got my first car and the speakers are basically junk, there is no bass quality what so ever, the speakers in the front have a crackling sound, so I have to put the majority of the balance toward the back and I have no money for speakers. If I could get in on the next giveaway that would be amazing, let me know when!!! Thanks.

  • @dzld9 We typically run contests every few months, or when a new product is coming out and Marketing gives me the OK to hold a contest.

  • Nice! I'll have to try these. I've used some others and it didn't give me what I wanted and to customer wasn't happy. Live Loud!!!

  • I am pretty impressed with how shallow the mount is yet the design allowed for a 3" voice coil, I don't know of any others that offer that! But I don't look at shallow mount woofers for my jeep, I will wall it eventually!

  • Very nice...

  • nice vid mike looks like a good shallow sub Maxxsonics seems to have delivered again.

  • 1st

  • @maxxsonics What subwoofers would be good for music like asking alexandria and we came as romans?

  • @Clandestinexkid You can achieve optimal performance on Rock music with almost any subwoofer that will work well in semi-small sealed enclosures.

  • @MaxxsonicsUSAInc So a big box and a big sub wouldn't work well?

  • @Clandestinexkid In my experience, the larger the box design gets, the more they tend to get sloppy but are much more efficient. For the range of frequencies and type of music you favor, a nice accurate sub/box combo is ideal. What size subs are you interested in? Power range?

  • @MaxxsonicsUSAInc I'm interested in maybe 12 inch subwoofers because i do listen to rap music also. I'm not too sure on power range. I have a 50-70 watt alt. If i need to get a battery I will. I really love bass and want something that will sound crazy

  • @Clandestinexkid If you choose an amp around 1200wrms or less you may only have to upgrade your battery. Each vehicle is different but considering you have a fairly small alt I would guess your batt is pretty standard. You could target a pair of 12's with 500-600wrms powerhandling per and 4 Ohm DVCs.

  • @MaxxsonicsUSAInc Which sub woofers do you recommend from maxxsonics?

  • @Clandestinexkid The Hifonics ZXi12D4, BRZ12D4, BRZ12SQD4 or the Crunch GPV12D4.

  • @MaxxsonicsUSAInc Thank you very much!

  • @Clandestinexkid No problem. Let me know if you have any further questions and I will do my best to help out.

  • @Clandestinexkid BRZ12SQD4's for sure check out my videos of the older ones ... they wont let u down they slam hard !!! id go with a bigger box than 2.0 cu ft like i had but not bigger than 3.25 cu ft ! my new box will be 3.0 and tuned @ 34 hz

  • @mazda2284 Always appreciate the feedback Mazda!

  • @MaxxsonicsUSAInc no problem ! loved the show last summer ! hope to do it again! maybe get some new Maxx gear to play with and test out ! my bro-inlaw loves the MB 15'' i got for him . im putting the squares in a box more suited for them and sent my Hi Fonics Titan 1000 Rms mono in for repair to power them...it maybe getting moded if they can,im waiting for it to get there so i can find out ! hoping to get 1200 rms out of it !
