  • why can't they say their kid is 2 yrs old instead of 28 months...ffs, it's like me being a pretentious prick and saying, I just turned 265 months. Fucktards.

  • There is nothing sexual about feeding a child. The problem is that our culture has so over-sexualized breasts that even their primary purpose as a means of nourishing human life has become taboo.

per·ver·sion Noun: The alteration of something from its original course, meaning, or state to a distortion or corruption of what was first intended.

does this mean that those who are condemning breastfeeding are PERVERTS?

Would a study even be done to see if children nursed to an older age are more independent, well adjusted, and showed better attachment and less being poorly attached and whiny, and yet this and higher IQ is what I observed in my own microcosm of observation born of nursing one and bottlefeeding the other and comparing what I noticed

    I also saw this extreme

  • cont to kathleen

independence and confidence in seeing and in other children from people i knew practicing extended breastfeeding and in conversations with the mothers as these other others mother were told by their children's teachers like I also heard from my son's teachers in her noticing a real difference for the better in behavior and also observed a strong independence not typical in other children their age in these children weaned late by mothers who practiced late child led

  • cont to kathleen

weaning and I have also seen this on other internet searches. the true benefits of late nursing seem to be behavioral and IQ wise.

There have been studies showing benefits of child led weaning. I will not "get the f__k over it".

I have studied this for years and you lady do not know what you are talking about and seem very hostile and personally invested in an opinion I expressed. Obviously something else is going on for you to have such an angry response to my personal

  • Disgusting nursing those GROWN kids...we should retitle the video in "Mom's getting off together"..that's what this extended nursing crap is all about...old boy doesn't wanna have no more pussy so the women get off using their kids.. to reach orgasm

  • @KathleenMeyers63 I was going to write this very thing but it appears you beat me to it. Very obvious women like this enjoy or even get sexual pleasure from having toddlers suck their tits.

  • @tiffcooper Thank you I hope you will give me thumbs up, it is truly not ok that these women abuse their children like this...it is really disgusting, take care, and SPEAK UP

  • dude the first time i jacked off i was 4 or 5. believe me, kids get horny too. just saying, these kids are kinda old for this shit.

  • Are you kidding me?? If your children have teeth and can talk they certainly should NOT be breast feeding!! This is outrageous!

  • I don't know when I will wean my daughter, shes 9 months old no plans any time soon I figure around 2 but time will tell - I may not be keen to breastfeed past 2, however I do think that people make something completely unsexual like breastfeeding and manipulate it in their minds, I don't understand why a lot of people have asked since she was 3 months old when Id stop and switch to a bottle, why is a bottle some how more acceptable hanging out of a babys mouth? P.s. Originally from Montreal :-)

  • childrens view of sex are not the same as an adults so do not think in adult concepts for they do not have them

  • Sexual abuse?! That's ridiculous. Breastfeeding is NOT sexual. I would think you should be sure your child is weaned well before school-age (meaning 4 or 5). I don't see anything disturbing about it at all.

  • fucking crazy moms

  • fuck the kid in the center wants to slurp while hanging like a monkey and also it would have been very nice that all moms have shown there melons before nursing just to give us viewers idea that by how much they swell over time in a course of milking.

  • I BET THEY ALL HAVE HOT ORGASMS WHILE DOING THIS!!!

  • @wonderall100 Yea...NOT SO MUCH. Breastfeeding for the large majority of women does not cause ANY sexual arousal. Especially not orgasm....what do you actually think I nurse my 7 month old baby boy because its sexual? Thats what my husband, vagina and cliterus is for. My breasts are for feeding my baby. I dont mind if my husband enjoys them....but lets not forget their MAIN and ORIGINAL purpose...

  • That little middle was hanging by a nipple

  • This baby need some milk too...

  • smh is all i can say

  • There are women that prolong breast feeding for many reasons....like some women who have eating disorder issues, breast feed much longer than others because they are able to lose weight. Other women continue breast feeding because their husbands like a fuller breast. Come on ladies....you know this...! If I know it you know it. Lots of alarms come up when I see women breast feeding for prolonged periods of time. Some of these women are being less than altruistic.

  • I am breastfeeding my 6 1/2 month old and really hoping to breastfeed her into toddlerhood! I'm already nervous about the criticism I will get from people (and am getting already), so these videos give encouragement! You moms are doing a beautiful thing for your babies! I hope I can do the same. To anyone who thinks this is sick - breasts are first and foremost for nurturing babies! It's our culture that makes them such a sexual thing. This is NOT perverted in any way.

  • Ha I'd like to know if the ones who post that this is psychologically damaging to the children have degrees to back up that kind of talk!?I doubt it! There's no proof it is damaging....FOOLS!

  • Lovely Lovely Lovely! Congratulations, mamas!

  • wish i was there with the ladys

  • wish i had breastmilk

  • wish i had breastmilk

  • WoW..way over the top..Pedophiles must love this video

  • yeah my son is 14 and i still nurse him at night, thank god for breast feeding he has never gotten sick, just emotionally disturbed.

  • Obviously these women don't have to work. Using your child to delay getting back into the workforce is pathetic. And women can get sexually aroused from breast feeding. This is well known.

  • @50hellkat2 how do you know they're not working? women who are breastfeeding can still work. it's called PUMPING.

  • @50hellkat2 I breastfed my two kids while serving in the U.S. Navy. They both self weaned, and believe me I NEVER got sexually aroused, but I got some much needed sleep. Didn't have to mix formula, saved a lot of money and my kids didn't get sick. I tandem nursed for 2 years (that means both at the same time) and they aren't twins. Look I'm not going to come down on you, but it's so sad. As women it's very empowering to be able to nurturer your child. It's why we have breast

  • @sonyagalloway Thanks for your comment. I understand what you are saying. It is anyone's choice to do what they want. I am not saying anything that hasn't been said via research papers etc. Some women do experience sexual feelings. (not toward their baby) that is very physiological and hormonal based stuff. They actually stop because of it. Some accept it and do what they feel is best for their baby. This is not to criticize...it is a fact. Google it.

  • I remember being 4 and I don't think I would want to remember or see pictures of me breastfeeding. This is from a male perspective. I don't think my wife would like to see a picture of me suckling my mom at 4 years of age either . Just sayin.

  • I am glad none of you are afraid of breastfeeding them past one year. I am a 14 years boy who always wonder why they are so sexualize. The media shouldn't to try to get people to believe that breast are for sex, when everyone should that breast is for feeding thier child, and about cow milk? Breast milk is much better for you and I believe some women who stopped breastfeeding can still pump their breast to use and save TONS OF MONEY. This is what I believe

  • breast feeding was one of best things she s did for r kids. she went till 5 yrs. boobs r fun for adult men to play with, because i like to hold and use them like any other guy, but after they serve their natural purpose. ..............sincerily waiting my turn.

  • I want some.

  • These babies look like monkeys. The middle one is like AHHH GET ME OFF THIS THING!!!! They are still getting the same nutrients if it is pumped why latch them to the boob. In my psychology book it actually says that women get pleasure from it and it was written by a mother so I think women like the feeling and keep doing it for the feeling. It disgusts me. My sister stopped breastfeeding at 3 months and is healthy and smart.

  • WOULD BE HOT, IF THE WOMAN STARTED SUCKING EACH OTHERS TITS!

  • WHO GIVES A SHIT!!!!

Ok, if you want something stuck to your tits all day carry on, but please don't make us watch such utter crap!

Oh and by the way your bazookers will look more like punctured balloons in a few years time, suck on that one!

  • @scanty1837

No one said you had to look, jerk.

  • @scanty1837 You are hilariious. I am still laughing....bazookers looking like punctured balloons in a few years.....haaaaaaaaaa

  • this is fucking gay... 3 beautiful ladies and i cant even see half a tit... wtf!

  • ..........i never new ther was a breast feeding orgy

  • Beautiful ladies ;)

  • Stfu lieberat!

  • Why are breast feeding videos put online ?

Why not keep it informative instead of sticking out your tits for the World Wide Web ?

I'm sure you don't see it being sexual and shows more of a bond between mother and child but I bet you that there are people out there who get a funny feeling between their crouch. Please be considerate of others. Thanks.

  • When I was visiting Iran, a woman of a nursing toddler told me is was the law to nurse until two! That's a country that forces women to do what's best for their children to become the healthiest they can be. So they can have strong armies and such, but the point is that it has been proven by the world health organization that it is best to nurse at least until age 2. All these tots are under that age.

Psychologically damaging...hahaha!!! Americans crack me up! Everything is 'dangerous.'

  • breasts were made to nurse our children stop being so ignorant ppl. guys you think they were made for you to have fun? well don't be selfish and wait untill the baby stops breast feading if there is something left for you. lol

  • omfg A ORGY!!!

  • exposing breasts in a public forum is scandal. Obvious these babies are not hungry.

  • How does the man in the mother's life feel about his son still sucking off the tit at almost Kindergarten age? I mean seriously how do the fathers feel about this? And how do they keep producing milk for years like that? I'd get annoyed up that I can't suck my own wife's tits 3 years after she had the kid...

  • @phreaktor1 My husband think breastfeeding is great. It keep my breast larger. He know it's more for the pleasure of the eye than anything. Really breast is for babies and toddlers they need our antibodies to grow stronger. I have a question for you; Have you been breastfed? Because if you have been you would understand that they are not sexual object.

  • @EmmanuellePorlier

So are they for the pleasure of the eye or not? You contradicted yourself. And how would me being breastfed as an infant affect my perception of a woman's breasts as a 32 year old man?? SO essentially, I shouldn't even pay attention to a woman's breasts as a sexual signal, but rather see them as portable feeding bags for babies to come? The notion is a bit ridiculous to believe. My point is simple. If the child can eat solid food, then they should eat solid food.

  • @phreaktor1 I you would have been breastfed yourself you would have a better perception of breastfeeding in general. You would not think of your selfish person as the most important in the family. What unite us as a family is our children and that why it's important to nuture them. they are the future of our planet. To give them the best is yo give them breatsmilk. It has way more nutriment than any formula on the market.

  • @EmmanuellePorlier I fail to see your logic. How would being breastfed as a child have any affect on your perception of breastfeeding as an adult? Unless a person was breastfed into the mental maturing stages of childhood (4+) they would not remember having been breastfed. Also, breast milk is important, but to an extent, when a child reaches about 2 years the effect of the milk becomes negligible, after this the mother is the one attached to it, even though most will deny this, it is quite true

  • @phreaktor1 don't be ignorant and selfish that is the proof that woman breast are to brastfeed the babies not for you guys to have fus that comes last. and not thers not sexual attachment to the baby by breastfeeding her. dont be fucking ignorant. period

plus let us do wherever we want with our own breasts.

  • @acnqueen01

I love how your emotionally fueled post has absolutely nothing to do with what is said. Lash out much? Cursing and all...

  • to this day I don't understand why so many people are against breastfeeding?

  • gotta also say that this is very weird. wtf ARE u doing recording the 3 of u.. That girl on the left is way too old, so u might as well feed me too

  • WTF are these 3 chicks doing breastfeeding these kids instead of me. Damn it I'm hungry too

    lol

  • Thanks for sharing! Your videos are awesome!

  • Very odd.

  • Just all of you come down to India, where miracles happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful! I was fed for five years and my son is nearly three and still going :-)

  • @sam232425 its funny that all these ignorant comments come from men. Get over it. breasts are for feeding children. if you can't understand that then you are the pervert... think about it.

  • @toddk911 What you say is not based on any fact, oly cultural prejudice and ignorance.

  • @toddk911 idiot

  • @toddk911 VERY WELL SAID!

  • @toddk911

I meant to vote down on that, by the way. The USA is the only country that advocates what you say. People in other countries breastfeed their babies till their 5, 6 sometimes even 7 years old. And I'm not only talking about impoverished countries who have no other way of feeding their babies. What YOU say is ignorant....probably because your momma didn't breastfeed you long enough, lmao. Have a nice day.

  • @toddk911 They were subjected to?... Food??

  • cont

my first LaLeche League meeting and saw moms nursing 18 months to age 2 kids, they seemed huge and I thought they were sick but when I started to hang around this group of wonderful and nurturing, smart moms and read I began to see this way of mothering was best for the children. I have no doubt these now grown children are phenomenal adults due to the excellent parenting they received..the most nurturing mothers I have met were LaLeche League moms. So caring and such thinking beings.

  • @wowbenji soon there will be milking machines just like they have for cows...then you can buy one and lactate till they lift you in your coffin....get the f...k over it, there are mulitple studies worldwide, showing no benefit of nursing a child past the age of 18 month...PERIOD, no further discussion needed...a child starts consuming solid foods at age 6 mo. further, there is no need for BF after they have switched to mostly solid foods PERIOD

  • cont to kathleen

to pump..that would be painful and you are sick for suggesting it..just very odd.

Although I have no desire to communicate with such an angry obviously non breast woman weaned far to early and not getting the behavioral benefits, no further discussion is desired and will not be read but you seem awfully closed minded if you have no ability to grow and your mind is set in stone so be it who cares if your kids do not get added benefits. Certainly I don't

  • cont

case history and observations as both a mother and a teacher.

I allowed my son to let me know when he no longer needed breastfeeding and feel this was the right decision. I see absloutely nothing negative that came of this and as I said he is very mentally healthy etc.

I never used a pump so thanks if I pass on the milking machine now that my son is an adult. You sicko My desire to nurse came from my son's need and not mine and now that he is decades past childhood why would I want

  • cont

on how independent and well behaved he was than the other children who constantly clamored for her attention and his IQ was tested at 167.

He is now 32 and he and my other son are probably some of the most mentally stable people, emotionally ahealthy and non-needy people I know. My son had fond memories of nursing for many years. In the world not run by western thought the average age of weaning is 3 to 5. But I do understand it is so rarely seen..when I attended ...

  • Comment removed

  • @toddk911

Actually you are the ignorant one. 50% of the benefits of extended nursing on demand are emotional. Children weaned after age 3 tend to be extraordinarily independent It raises IQ 10-15 points and makes it much harder to be overweight as adults which is vey emtionally difficult in itself in this society due to breastfeed children having less fat cells that work differently than bottle fed ones.

Actually my son nursed till 4 and the kindergarten teacher commented

  • beautiful. im still nursing my daughter and she is now 29 months!

  • Awesome video! Hooray for nursing toddlers!

  • My son nursed 'till around 30 months before he stopped. Thanks for showing moms everywhere that nursing does not have to end at any specific time.

  • based on your statement u obviously are some sort of paedophile i pity your son subjecting him to that sort of incest

  • It is better to breastfeed a child till the age of 5 years, and that it would very much give reassurance and the needed support to the child from the part of the mother.

The child will have the strength both physically and mentally.

  • I've heard a study that says up to eight though most are off by the time they are six.

  • @kamalaram have you done this? I am interested in learning for when I have my own children so I can make the best decisions

  • @kamalaram You are a fucking retard. Me? Weaned at six months. IQ 140-150, 6'2", built like a brick shithouse, and I get a cold once a year. breastfeeding means nothing in terms of duration.

  • you sucked ur moms tits and happy

dont know who more fucked up you or her

  • u are certifable that or a pedo or both

  • You guys are all awesome! Beautiful!!

  • i see a future threesome i would watch it

  • foursome if you would like me to join

  • This is awesome. Kudos!! :)

  • tks for sharing...it gives people like me encouragement and reminds me that I'm not alone in the world of breastfeeding older babes..

  • Why put something like this on yuotube

  • @StuMas because they want to make a STATEMENT

  • usely by the time they turn 3 and half they stop on their own each child is different but it cool my neice ivy had not asked for 4 months now she is a little over 3 and half now

  • I wish I had breast fed longer. My son weaned himself at 6 months, preferring the bottle of Carnation powdered milk. I was sad but there we go. He's 38 now and a dad himself and has a beautiful wife and daughter.

  • This is probably just me, but my first impression was 'big babies'. Is it common to nurse at that size? Or bigger? I'm just curious 'cause I've only seen small babies nurse.

  • BEAUTFUL! My daughter is 3 and still nurses at night. It was the best choice I have ever made, she is well advanced for her age and has not been sick since age 1. God Bless BREASTFEEDING!

  • It sure seems to work. I had read that 90% of children will have had antibiotics for an ear infection by 1 year and 100% by 5 years. My son is 2 now and he has never had an ear infection or antibiotics so far. Leigh is 2 1/2 and she has not had them either. Could be a fluke, but it doesn't seem to hurt, that's for sure.

  • @sonia989 I exclusively nursed my son 7.5 months, no pacifiers, no bottles, no solids of any kind, & nursed on demand & he's had a few ear infections/antibiotics. Mostly fluid not draining is our issue, now facing tubes. I just imagine what it would have been like w/ out the nursing...far scarier I'm sure. He's 11 months & 90% of his diet is still breastmilk via the boob. Just wish I didn't pass on my cruddy ear genes.

  • @sonia989 I have heard that kids get ear infections. My son, who was breastfed until 12 months only ever got a little sniffle. My daughter, who is still being nursed at 21 months hasn't ever gotten sick either.

P.S. I need more moms like yous around so I can feel better about the nursing...Everybody I know, thinks it's disgusting. Thankfully my Husband doesn't mind. Although, I'M getting tired.

  • @sonia989 It's not breast milk it's luck.

  • @SilverWealth23

BEAUTIFUL?? LADY YOU NEED TO GET YOUR HEAD SCANNED!

  • Great job ladies :) Well done :)

  • This was great to see, Im nursing my 7 month old and have full intentions of allowing her to wean when she is ready. Its ridiculous how much negativity this generates.

  • smh............smh............

  • When does breastfeeding turn into sexual abuse? Sorry, but this is disturbing. Asking your child, "You want some boobie?" wtf??

  • Breastfeeding has NOTHING to do with sex and sexual abuse. If anything, it is more abuse to force the child to wean prematurely.

You think God gave us breasts to nurse our children and gave them 'milk teeth' for their nursing years if it was against nature?

Nursing does not stir up sexual feelings. You'd have to be one helluva pervert to get turned on while nursing.

  • @sonia989 Aren't those teeth for chewing food?

  • @sonia989 wow thre hot milfs looking so so sexy n which to feed from 1st n good to masturbate off at

  • @sonia989 i think you and lara are very sexy and hot milfs with great breasts and i love masturbating of at you both when yr breastfeeding so keep it up and keep vblog your breastfeeding

  • Uhhhhh....the "abuse" is in the eye of the beholder

  • @sarapiork

So.....when does saying "boobie" become sexual abuse. LMAO! That's what they are. They're boobies! Titties! Tatas! Chichis! and Yes my baby feeds from them!

  • @sarapiork Hey I want some boobie!!!

  • I meant, how is it possible to stop giving a desirous kid your breast in a peacefull way?

  • By slowly dropping one nursing at a time, starting with the ones that take place at times where something else could easily substitute for food, comfort or distraction.

It depends on the kid, though. Some are particularly reliant on th ebreast for comfort, so you may hav eto ride it out till they are ready to move on, which they invariably do become.

  • Can anybody of your shocked breastfeed video watcher tell me, how to stop it? I have no experience in this, how is yours? I don´t want to have clamour for to weeks.

Another question: who has has emotions similar to orgasm while breastfeeding? I never had any erotic feelings thereby.

And I know 9 kids which were/are feed by mothermilk longer than 24 months. So, what´s normal?

  • I think it's normal to nurse to 24v months, and even longer if you let the kid wean himself.

As for weaning, I just slowly dropped one nursing at a time. I chose the easier times first. I could, at this point, easily stop nursing him in the morning. He will happily get up and just have breakfast, but since I am wiling to continue, I do nurse him on waking.

I could drop the nap-time nursing by letting him fall asleep in the stroller. Bedtime may be harder. I'm in no rush, anyway.

  • My 14 month old is still happily nursing. I think at this time in this country, we need videos like this, but I look forward to the day when there's no longer the need for "nurse-ins." Thanks Mamas. I ask anyone who reads them to dig down deep, beyond their conditioning to how they truly feel in their heart about this issue. Ask yourself if this act of motherly love is truly wrong.

  • okay, lets force the feedings to make a point.

  • Go mommies!! I breast feed my 6 month old. To all of the people who do not like the breast feeding videos : DON"T WATCH THEM

  • i have glasses thanx i still think its not right u do it because u want to i bet he only had a sip of milk anyway and i still that no baby should still be on the breast after no more then a year old and should be made to have it in the bottle if needed

  • Maybe you need glasses. In case you didn't notice, he happily latches on and plays with his mom's hair, and when he gets squirmy, she puts him down.

It is physically impossible to force a baby to nurse- just like you can't make a horse drink.

  • 28 months? Holy shit.

  • Nice to see more breastfed toddlers! I wish I had a network of breastfeeding friends. Other then LLL we're pretty alone! My daughter (18mos) has enjoyed your videos and keeps signing "baby". :)

  • sweet vid

i am breastfeeding my two year old and six month old...breat is best until they wean themselves :-)

  • i breastfed all 3 or my sons until they were just about 12 months..and very occasionally gave them a bottle either with formula or breast milk.i loved breast feeding..but after like 10 months of doing it..it just didn't seem right to me anymore..and i just decided to stop..that "bond" wasn't strong anymore..and i knew that they got the nutrition they needed and were ready for whole milk..but breastfeeding for a year, i think is the BEST thing for a baby..beyond that..i guess is the mama's choice

  • It NEVER stops being the perfect food for humans, of ANY age. There is stuff in breastmilk that you can't get from ANY other food, including stem cells!

  • sick!

  • Great video girls. I'm still breastfeeding at 12 months with no plans for weaning and loving it. We've got the change the opinion in the west so this becomes seen as the "norm" again.

  • Awesome Job Ladies! Your children are going to grow up healthy and strong. You are giving them the best start in life! I am currently breastfeeding my 13 month old, and it is the most beautiful bonding experience... I think some of these people making rude comments need to become educated on the subject before posting their opinions...

  • hahahahaha!!!!! I read the description of the ages, and when it started to play I thought the 16 month old was on the left. I was like, "Why isn't my daughter talking like that?!" LOL She's 13 months now. Nice video! Not nice comments though, what a bunch of haters : / At least we know how to raise kids properly!

  • Comment removed

  • that's so sweet to watch! I breastfed my son for 23 month and we both enjoyed it. it made our relationship special.

  • mom mammals carry their young and nurse for an extended period. If you think I am wrong, look up pediatrician Dr. William Sears. He does not believe in Ferberizing babies, which I am sure you have done. I'm sorry, most ppl refer to it as leting the baby "cry it out" or self soothing. My daughter has learned that she can trust me because I am there and do not force her to do things, like wean or sleep alone, that she is not ready for. It has helped with her learning indepencance.

  • Why not? Who says? You? Because you are certainly not backed in your claim by the World Health Organization, the AMA or Pediatrics association....

    you do know that, right?

  • The WHO says breast is best and to breatfeed a minimum of 1 year, longer is possible.

  • Actually, the WHO says minimum 2 years. The North American physicians are the ones who say 'at least 1 year'. But no-one says 'at most' any amount of time. Pay no attention to chocolatesodafizz, she is a troll.

  • Okay and you don't have to worry about breaking babies from breastfeeding??? I applaud the women that know when to stop breastfeeding. My baby is eight months old and sleeps in her crib every night, when she wants in the bed with her father and I we allow her to be but she hardly wants that.

  • You guys still gonna' breast feed when the kids are 5 and up??? I have a 9 months old and she gets a bottle!!!

  • well, I feel sorry for your baby, statistically speaking, she's not going to be as smart, as healthy or as hardy as her lucky breastfed counterparts.

  • I feel sorry for your baby too, you have to worry about things like bottle rot and breaking her off the bottle and other issues associated with using bottles. I APPLAUD these women!!! They are doing what nature intended. I do't know about your child, but mine was not born with a bottle. But, I guess, you would think me a real nut,or whatever because not only does my 1 year old daughter still nurse (which I am suffering with a clogged milk duct, but still nurses) but she also sleeps with me.

  • I also know women who cut their children off from breastfeeding early...if they even bothered to breastfeed at all,

and let me tell you nothing is more disgusting than having to watch those big children sucking on a bottle or a pacifier for years on end. Then in the end you have to feel sorry for those children because they are only doing what's natural with their instict to still suckle; only then have the parents rip that dirty, nasty tooth rotting security nipple away from them.

  • WAY TO GO MOMS!!!!!!!! should be very proad you kepted on nursing i catch hell all the time my daughter is 14 months I dont listen to no one I am doing whats best for me and my daughter my hat goes off to all you moms who keep nusing after 12 months i know i will cont: till i feel its time or my dauhter feels its time to give it up hell with anyone who doesnt like it

  • I think its okay, its every moms own decision how long she want to nurse.

Look at the babys, they are okay, fine and happy, so what do you say against??

  • weird

  • I watched a couple of those videos , what annoys me is the provocative tone ...I think it's their business how long they breastfeed ... who cares??

and yes from a medical point of view breast feeding is very very important - a to kick start your baby's immune system and b to have a better emotional bond with your child .

  • It's one thing to want to what's best for your child, it's another to have them keep doing something because you can't andle them 'weening themelves'. If in fact you want them to have the breast milk because of the benifiets PUMP, but to have them actually latch on at age two and over is a bit disturbing.

  • You misunderstood. Lara says she can't handle FORCING Leigh to wean. That is, imposing it before Leigh decides she is ready. Leigh nurses for comfort; breastmilk in a bottle is no substitute for mama herself.

  • honey, most children ARE weaned, meaning they are FORCED to stop nursing at 6 months. no one listens to what they need or want. if they still feel they need the milk, they should have it, WE do not know how they feel. and even if they do not need it, the breast is like a teddy bear, or a pacifier....you wouldnt take a 3 yr olds teddy away, so dont take away the one thing that connects them most to mommy.

  • I love your videos so much! Its so great you all are still bf I love it with my 28 month old!

  • Thank you for posting this. It's important to have more images of extended nursing out there. Many women don't even realize it is done and is an option. I also nursed my children for a long time. They are all happy, healthy, loving and empathetic children. Many of my friends also nursed their babies past two years. Thank you for putting these beautiful images out there. Beautiful Mamas! Healthy children!

  • right on!!

the only reason most women stop with 1 year or less is because they think it is 'wrong' to feed beyond...they never once think of their child, or if their child WANTS to stop...it is after all, the way they connect best with mom.

  • American doctors usually discourage breastfeeding past age one. Why, I haven't a clue. I'm just so grateful that I had Le Leche League's 'The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding' as my standard. No one I knew breastfed, so I had no coaches. This is incredible how you have this support network. Good job, mommies!

  • that is sick! i live in europe and here they say i year MINIMUM breastfeeding, longer if possible and the longest is best.of course only as long as mother and child both feel comfortable doing so. in my case, my daughter didn't want to nurse past two months, even with me trying for a week to gently force her.i finally got scared she wasn't gaining enough and bottle fed her after every breast time. suddenly she was the happiest girl in the world, and it was harder for me to except than for her.

  • oops.1 year, sorry.

i still miss the connection between me and my baby during nursing....but she is happier without it. so i pump as much as i can and bottle feed her with what i still have...turns out she was a lazy drinker, only drank the first milk and when she had to use more strength to drink the fatty milk she gave up. but the best thing is breast milk no doubt, straight from the breast but if that dont work...pump it ladies.

oh yeah and i meant to write accept lol

  • you women need to cut the apron strings they have teeth that means they can chew and eat on their own you women need to talk to someone about this it's not natural. my two boy do not continue trying to hop on my wife breast to keep feeding so i know it isn't the kids fault. this is something that is pushed on the child by the mother. and by the way congrats in messing with your kids heads.child carressing you and you like it? sounds like you women should be on megans list.

  • You don't even know us or our kids. We are not forcing them. In fact, they love and demand it and we expect it will take some strategy to wean them unless we wait for them to wean themselves.

  • eww what are you thinking? gross i dont even want to know....

you are a man, you shouldn't even join this conversation as you have NO clue what kind of a bond a mother has with her child, and the other way around, especially while nursing. in my case, my husband was not allowed to touch my breasts while i was nursing because i would get turned off instantly since my first thought was my daughter...my boobs were only there for her tummy during that time.

so keep your dick out of it.

  • A smack? Now THAT is disrespectful behaviour.

  • Spare the rod spoil the child!!!

  • That may be true, but when you are nursing you toddler and they are caressing you because they love you, it would be pretty harsh and hurtful to hit them for it. My son doesn't go in my shirt because I just tell him not to. If he does it anyway, I put an end to the nursing session.
